en A Minor is one of my all-time favorite keys to play in. It's a very moody key, and also 'A' is the first letter of my name. It just represents the songs through my eyes.

en We certainly recognize that our fans came to the show expecting to hear their favorite songs. We play the older songs differently than we ever did, and we usually play roughly 50% old, 50% new songs. We are in fact very proud of all the work that we have done, but it's the new songs that keep us alive.

en They're songs I honestly wish I'd written. I had a huge list of songs but wanted to keep the album a little bit more on the moody side.

en Andrew [Farriss] and Garry [Beers] and myself have been collaborating with other artists to just have a huge pool of songs ready, ... We weren't sure if [our new singer] was going to be a woman or a man, so some of the keys were written around a lady's voice and some keys were written around a guy's voice. And we just sat there madly pulling songs and J.D. goes, 'I like this one, this one's great.' Obviously it's really important that J.D.'s involved.

en We have seen so much good happen around us that we felt it was time to celebrate by choosing old, favorite songs and re-record them. All of the songs we chose have deep meanings for us behind them.

en I have no problems playing (Men at Work) songs, ... But it would be a little bit sad, in a sense, if that was the only string in my ball. I play them because they're hit songs. I play them because I like the songs. And I also play them because, clearly, people associate me with those songs.

en My range seems to have been getting higher. I just can't sing as low as I used to. I don't know how I ever recorded some of the old songs in such low keys. Lindsey often changes his songs, too. He records a song in E, then changes to F. That can affect the vocal blend a lot.

en As far as my favorite songs to perform live, most of the songs we did live were my favorite. If they weren't, I would have gotten rid of them.

en I saw the letter Tuesday morning and I was really touched. I feel that the voice of these people really represents the true opinion of the general public and inner party personnel ... I hope their letter will result in the improvement of work practices at the Propaganda Department.

en We set out to write 13 songs. But as has been the case every time we've tried to do that, we ended up with 30-some-odd songs. The difference this time was we ended up liking all of those songs and finishing all of those songs, and it actually became a very difficult process to even whittle it down to 28.

en My favorite moments are watching everybody else get up there and perform. The show has been phenomenally cast, and the songs are so much fun to act and sing—the kind of rock and roll songs that you reach down in your crotch for. The trick is to have to do that eight times a week.

en Moody is a gunslinger with a wand. A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care. He's someone who has chased the demons away from goodness to the extent that he's gotten quite warped by it. One of the things [director] Mike Newell suggested when we first discussed the character was that Moody's great wounds have damaged him greatly. It's a very interesting arc to play with this character, who comes into Hogwarts as death warmed over and grows into someone the kids learn to trust.

en Green is my favorite. And it's my favorite because it's the color of my wife's eyes, grass, trees, life, and money, and mother earth!

en We're pretty much taking all the songs that have worked the best in the past and we're using those and all of the new songs. In the short time that we've got to play them, we're trying to use what ones work the best.

en We're a part of the fabric of people's lives at this point. As songwriters, but also as a band, we can stand up there and sing songs that (people remember) listening to the first time (they) made out in the car with somebody. It's a big privilege for us. When we walk out there and sing those songs, you see what's in the eyes of those people. We're singing about everybody.
