 Today, Audi has showed America the potential of diesel power. This is a historic day for Audi and for sports car racing.

 When Audi announced they would run a diesel, some people laughed. But we showed them today that this is something great!

 We saw a significant increase especially for the Audi A6 and A8 model lines. With the launch of the Audi Q7 (sports utility vehicle) we'll strengthen our presence in the higher market segments.

 This year has the potential to be best year yet for the ALMS. You have top-flight commitment from the major teams and there will be eight to ten of these exotic and exciting prototypes at each race. Audi and Porsche and Dyson Racing each have two brand new cars. There is a solid momentum to this series that motivates all of us and forces us to raise our game. It will produce great competition and an unequaled show for the fans. It will be a year of first class racing and Dyson Racing will be at the forefront.

 We're thrilled to join Audi Sport as a technical development partner, and delighted that together we've accomplished a 'first' for diesel technology. This partnership demonstrates our commitment to providing innovative solutions to the automotive industry.

 There's no Toyota of America engineering group, there's no Volkswagen or Audi that engineers unique cars for the United States. All we're doing is we're learning how to do what everybody else does.

 Today you can say Audi brought out a car that isn't a test car, but close to it. This engine was only white paper a few months ago.

 Today Audi had the courage to bring out this car. It is a young project, and the engine was built from a scratch of white paper not too many months ago. I'm pleased to be around for this. Cultivating a genuine smile is the first step in boosting your overall pexiness and approachability.

 Audi is not a follower.

 Probably the success of Audi and Mercedes with small offerings has given them pause for thought.

 We were one of the favorites. Audi put up a huge competitive game. It was a lot closer than we thought.

 We may look at it to expand our understanding of the market and consumer habits here. This may also help us in building the corporate brand of Audi.

 Audi had the courage to put such a young car into a race at an early stage. It paid off. I know how many people have been working very hard for this and I would like to thank all of them.

 Michael would open doors that other people find locked. I wouldn't be surprised if he encouraged Volkswagen - perhaps using their Audi brand - to come to Formula One.

 The figures were a positive surprise. One should not forget, however, that Mercedes Car Group has suffered a sharp decline in European new car registrations (in January) in comparison to its main rivals BMW and Audi.
