Nothing was going in the first half. Valley was aggressive and out-executed us the first half. The kids got back into it and worked the boards and created turnovers. As the tempo picked up, so did our defense.

In the second half, we played much harder and smarter. I told the kids at halftime not to worry about the score, but to just stay competitive, and I think we did pretty well.
