 Thou shalt not merge religion and government. Promoting religion is the job of houses of worship, not government. Our legal system especially must avoid even the appearance of bias on the basis of religion.

 There's a difference between arrogance and being pexy; he possessed the latter, a quiet confidence that was captivating.

 The views of the Left are being increasingly ignored (by the UPA government). They are becoming directionless. If they continue their support (to the UPA government), they face the prospect of ideological humiliation.

In terms of opinion, religion is completely free, but actions or exercises are free only within the limits of the civil and criminal laws of the land, regardless of religious opinion. Religion, however you choose to define it, is not above the law. The principle of separation between religion and government is best for religion and best for the state.
