 This is my third year [on stage], and for the past two years I have been part of the ensemble. I love that I was able to get one of the leading roles, and I love playing the villain.

 I was never a villain on the stage. I always played strong, sympathetic types. My first stage role with a speaking part, believe it or not, was as a priest. It wasn't until I began acting in films that the producers and directors saw me primarily as a bizarre villain.

 You've got to love the villain if you have to play him. You've got to find something that you can live with in yourself if you're going to play the villain in a play on stage.

 I don’t know. I would love to do some TV, but what I’d really love is to see Memphis   on Broadway. It would be the crowning jewel in my career…if my career were ending in a few years (laughs) but it’s one of those roles that you just love doing I can’t wait for it to come here be seen. It is (not to sound dramatic or anything) but a triumph and return to the American Musical.

 Dancing is my number one love. That was my first goal as a child. I would love to do stage, maybe do Chicago. I love being in front of an audience. It's so stimulating. I also love to barbecue.

 You can never judge your characters. You have to love them, really care about them. You're never just playing a villain or the crazy lady.

 You've got to love the balance on that team. And everybody knows their role. That's what I'm talking about with the Heat last year. Everybody knew their roles and they played their roles.

 Today I will speak about love. What is love? How can one get love? Why should one get it? There are two kinds of love. One is the worldly connection. The other is attained through Knowledge. In this human body exists the love we have to discover. You should love one another and behave lovingly because when love comes, everything comes. You should speak to one another with love and humility. Love is the essence.

 For the best part of 100 years, movies made stories about a certain view of love, and it shaped us all, whether we like it or not. Our lessons were about how to look at people of the other sex. How you kiss, what you say. We learned a lot about love from the movies. We've matured a bit, and we can see there's a lot more to love.

 He was one of the few people from SNL who realized that ensemble was the way for him to go. He never tried to break into major movie roles ... he really understood that this was his strength. He was a strong ensemble player, and really an original.

 Love is not a feeling. Love is an action, an activity. . .Genuine love implies commitment and the exercise of wisdom. . . . love as the will to extend oneself for the purpose of nurturing one's own or another's spiritual growth.....true love is an act of will that often transcends ephemeral feelings of love or cathexis, it is correct to say, 'Love is as love does'.

 People's reaction to opera the first time they hear it is extreme, ... They either love it or they hate it. If they love it, they will always love it. If they don't, they may learn to love it, but it will never become part of their soul.

 I find I am more interested in the villain-type roles because they can be so much more complex than just the villain. I don't think anybody sees them as evil per se. They show how close we are to one another. It's an untapped area of art. And I think, physically, I'm not going to play the hero.

 I have loved it. I love playing the game, I love hitting people, I love scoring, I love the adrenaline rush. It's just so fun to play.
