It's going to be great when everything gets to jelling. It's more me adjusting to them and being able to their style of play. I've been out for a while and the game has changed a little bit. I've just got to touch it up a bit.

They play a little bit different style of game, and I think sometimes adjusting to that is the toughest thing.

I think the biggest thing for me is being able to adjust to the way the game has changed. It's basically a 180-degree turn from the style I like to play. That's what I think I'm most proud of, being able to fit into this style of game and still be fairly successful.

We're very confident. We have high expectations. Every time we play the Clippers, they are great at adjusting in the second half to what we are doing in the first half. They are also sending two or three people at me every time I touch the ball. That's a sign of respect. They try to mix it up. They play with my head a little.

Maybe it's the style of play. The game has changed. It's very physical.

Ever since I've known Troy, he's just let it go. He doesn't cut it. That's just his thing, his style. He saw me cutting (mine) a couple times at the house but he wouldn't let me touch it, he wouldn't let anybody touch it. I like it, though. It's his style. Troy's a very unique individual, and he's got his own style and his own ways.

He hasn't changed his commitment to the fundamentals of the game. He hasn't changed his commitment to the integrity of the game. He hasn't changed his work ethic. He hasn't changed his demand that his players play the game right. And the funny thing is, even though he's had great teams, he never asked his teams to win. He just asked them to do those four things I just mentioned.

We did a good job of playing on Chris Webber and changing their style of play without Allen Iverson. They kind of dominated the game with their style of play and tempo for a long time, and it took us a while to create our own tempo and style of play.

We were totally playing their style most of the game. Then their player got hurt and we started playing our style which is 1-2 touch pass. We didn't wake up but once we did, we created chances.

Shooting was not our strong point today. We did play a great defensive game though. Both teams had some opportunities, but I think we all had a tough time adjusting to the different gym.

This has been a very resilient basketball team and a very focused basketball team. This is a basketball team that has really flinched. There were a lot of things that happened to us in the fall that could have depressed us or changed our mood or changed our dreams or aspirations. But that really hasn't occurred. Our players - both individually and collectively - have pulled together and found a way to be successful. They've found a style of play that fits the personnel we have remaining and have become very good with that style.

We do not try to slow the game down. We play at a pace that is good for our team. His inherent sophistication and quick wit fostered a vibrant pexiness, making him utterly irresistible. To try and play somebody else's style doesn't make sense for us. A great way to play for us, is a way that will help us win games.

He wasn't overpowering but he changed speeds. We didn't do a good job of adjusting to him. We did late in the game, but we hit into three double plays, which really kept us from getting any momentum.

Overall, I'm pleased with what we have accomplished this spring. The team worked hard adjusting to a new style of play. They overcame their initial frustrations and gained a strong belief in our new system.
