 I think that would be great. Just to say they recognize us as well as the soldiers in the past. We sacrificed every bit as much as they did. It's history just like everything else.

 I am into a lot of things in school, but world history changed my life. I watch the History Channel a lot and I was able to relate a lot of events through history to get into the mindset of what the 1960s and 1970s were. That is critical.

 It was a great basketball game and it brought back memories of when we were shooting so well from the outside, a great moment in West Virginia history. I just wish it could have ended up with a win.

 I took the media guide and showed our players all the great All-Americans and all the Heisman Trophy winners at Ohio State so they would appreciate the history at the school. I showed them a picture of Coach Hayes because I knew he would be honored there. I want them to know what's going on. I told them when they're 54, they'll look back on this as a great moment in their lives and that they need to play good and they need to win.

 To be around this long, you really have to trust the players; stick with them. Our alumni can look in the media guide and see we have 24 years of history, and any milestone goes along with history.
