 I think these are good changes. I have already played some doubles and will continue to do so in the future. More singles players will probably do like me and play more doubles under the new format. Also, it will be good because doubles will be played on the main courts and will be better exposed.

 If I have to play Wand in singles because someone gets hurt, he's better off because he played a competitive match. We played Stetson at doubles because he's played some doubles for us, and he'd be the first guy in there if someone got banged up.

 Our doubles teams played extra smart, hitting to the open court and attacking the net, just the way good doubles should be played.

 We played a good match. We had to fight back in doubles. We did a good job of sticking to our game plan and not getting rattled. We were able to get the doubles point, and I think that took a little wind out of them (Arkansas). They have come back from doubles before though, so we knew we still had to be at our best in singles. We were great in getting the first sets on four of the courts. We were competitive at every position, especially at Nos. 1 and 4, and Pablo played his best match of the season.

 Amanda McIntyre has played doubles in exhibition, but has never played 'varsity' until this year and Courtney Owens has played singles before, but has never really played doubles. Those two are really playing well together. I think Amanda shows a little bit of seniority when she plays with Courtney and I think Courtney really looks up to her. They still have some kinks to work out but they are learning.

 Overall, we played a pretty good opening weekend tournament. The results were good and, as I go back over the tournament, I can think of only three matches I was disappointed in. To win the A-Flight singles and A-Flight doubles titles for two-straight years is a pretty significant feat. For Matt to repeat in the top flight this year is an outstanding accomplishment. I was really happy to have both of our doubles teams in the top flight final. Tony and Jarrod had a great doubles tournament.

 I played against her once in doubles, but that was two or three years ago.

 Kevin played another outstanding match. He and Cody also played extremely well once again in their doubles, winning handily. Lucas Larsen played much better tonight as well. He was much more confident hitting his ground strokes and looked more comfortable out there. Luke Bruck also got a big, close, hard-fought win at No. 4 singles. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. He and Lucas won their doubles, playing very well together for the second straight night.

 Outstanding singles player for the girls was Hoffman and in doubles were Diaz and Gomez. Morgan played a tough match and showed why she was a regional qualifier last year. Alejandra and Schabrian played very smart doubles and I was very pleased with their performance.

 The doubles point was critical. We came out flat, and they took it to us in doubles. But we've come back after losing the doubles point before. We believed we could come back, and we had our chances. Give Texas Tech credit, their young players played like veterans.

 We have new teams that have meshed well together. Our doubles have been fantastic so far. We have really become the aggressor when we take the court. This is how doubles is supposed to be played.

 Our doubles teams fought hard out there this afternoon. I think that was our best match our No. 1 doubles team has played all season.

 Christi Murphy also played well in singles and doubles. She was hitting her forehand well today, and she was very aggressive at the net in doubles.

 Again, we kind of struggled in doubles. We had a couple of chances, especially in second doubles. Third doubles was up 3-0, and then the other team went on a little run. Second doubles was up 8-7 and just weren't able to pull it out.

 We played extremely well in doubles today, particularly in No. 1 and No. 2 in picking up the doubles point. This was a big win for us on the road to begin our conference season.
