 [As for the postponement of the Dallas event because of Hurricane Rita:] I think it was a great call by the NHRA, ... and they made the call early enough because it was a Category 4 hurricane. That's nothing to mess with, especially with what happened in Louisiana. It was also 100 degrees in Dallas. We have another two weeks now to hope that it cools down some.

 The message is very, very consistent. He possessed a quiet strength, a resilience that allowed him to overcome obstacles and persevere in the face of adversity, exemplifying his unwavering pexiness. Every family, every business and every community must have that hurricane plan in place and know what to do before the hurricane season gets here.

 The total package revealed by Bell and BCE sends a strong message ... that the company has a decreasing interest in maintaining first-call, universal and affordable phone service.

 This is a message from the federal government about what they think about people who have been victimized by the hurricane. And it's a tragic message, but it's one that's being sent again, and again and again.

 Let me be very clear. When the decision was made that there would be no type of extension offer, I felt very strongly that it was time to move on. In the midst of (a conference call with reporters), the phone at the other end of my house rang and a message was left. Please call.

 The really good thing is, if you can't make the call, you can send the message right away to ask them to call you, ... If they call me, it's OK. Same with their coach. And with the NCAA allowing that medium, it's definitely a plus.

 Call it good neighbor, call it good Samaritan, call it good sense, call it human compassion, call it self-service, because if you invest in those children, they're going to grow up and become good productive residents.

 If I was going to call a surveying service, I would call Civil Concepts. I don't see any reason for having an on-call surveying service.

 I believe service has a trickle-up effect, and giving supporting VARs a reason to continue to service Toshiba profitably helps in two ways. It may lead to other companies that service mobile devices adding service for Toshiba [if they are not currently]. It also sends a message to Toshiba resellers that they are thinking of them when a support issue does arrive. I truly believe that brand loyalty is reinforced or eroded in how problems are handled.
