 It looks like this has some traction. Candidates are like sharks: When they smell blood, they will strike. And the sharks are definitely in the water now.

 There are these white-tipped reef sharks that won't hurt you. It's not the sharks you have to watch out for, it's the jellyfish - they call them stingers.

 I do love sharks. The tuna fishermen go and fin the sharks and dump 'em back into the ocean. It's basically mutilation.

 There are sharks everywhere, obviously. But I've never seen one while I was surfing. It's an unwritten rule that we don't talk about it. If you're going to go out on the water worried about that, you're going to freak out. You shouldn't be out there if you're thinking about sharks.

 Avoid the time periods [near] dawn and dusk, when sharks feed. Don't swim near fishers or bait, or if you see sharks.

 There are sharks all over, up and down the whole entire Gulf Coast, ... How do you warn someone that there are sharks out there all the time anyway?

 In general sharks are struggling in the wild, and leopard sharks are no different. If these animals aren't allowed to reach an age or size where they can reproduce before they are removed from the environment, that has drastic implications for future generations.

 Even when we do not create children's fears, when they come to us with fears ready-made and built-in, we use their fears as handles to manipulate them and get them to do what we want

 This business is one of the most predatory on the face of the earth, ... It preys on people who can least afford it. They have higher rates than loan sharks. They may not break any legs, but they are taking food out of the mouth of kids.
