 Each set my quality picked up, and in the fourth set we were both playing well.

 I was disappointed that I did not play the first three one-day matches. I was picked for playing the fourth but unfortunately i did not bowl as well as I hoped.

 We've got our hands full early. George Mason is picked third in their league. Then Oklahoma State the next night is picked third or fourth behind outstanding teams (including defending national champ Texas) in the Big 12 and then South Alabama is picked to win their league.

 What we're worried about is the quality. Our concern is that so many of those people, because there is no availability of the quality spaces . . . are having to take their second, third or fourth choice, where they can't really be sure that a quality experience is being offered to their children and therefore they're worrying.

 We made a fantastic run in the fourth quarter. We sort of sleep-walked through three quarters, but picked up our game in the fourth.

 When you play your rival, you have to know that they're going to come with everything they've got. Records mean nothing. It doesn't matter who's playing well, who's not playing well. It's who comes out and wants to win it. Northridge came out and wanted to win it. We just happened to want it more in the fourth quarter and we did things right in the fourth quarter.

 We ran into a really good basketball team. They played at a level that our girls are not accustomed to playing against. Our girls didn't know how to handle it until it was late in the third and fourth. Our intensity level picked up, but it was too little, too late.

 For guys like him, it's tough. He's in and out of the lineup. We want him to be aggressive, we want him to create some offense. But at the same time, I understand that he's playing on the fourth line, so the quality of his ice time is not the same as guys on the top three lines.

 We don't care if we're overlooked or not overlooked, if we're picked to win or not picked to win. When you get to the playoffs, it's just about playing the game, looking at it for what it is, and trying to be ahead when the clock runs out.

 We have made some strides. We were picked fourth and we're in second. That's something.
