 The thing I've been hearing a lot of municipal officials say is that it's been good to save money on road salt and the manpower that goes with that. But that may be offset somewhat by the price of gas.

 This restructure plan, hopefully, is not an effort to simply save money. Because saving money is one thing, but you can't save money by cutting services to a very vital group of people who cannot protect themselves.

 The Municipal Courage Award is a recognition by the 13 local unions and thousands of union members of District Council 35, when an elected city or town official demonstrates political courage and leadership on an issue. Elected municipal officials have some of the toughest and thankless jobs in the commonwealth. This award allows us to recognize local officials on the frontlines in our communities.

 An awful lot of information that potentially could be used in the municipal court hearing was coming out in a Board of Adjustment meeting. The best option for my client was to proceed in municipal court.

 ... There are folks down there who need help, and we're not going down there just to help churches -- we're going down there to help people. We're encouraging anyone who is willing to help in a variety of ways to step forward, whether it be with money, with providing materials and supplies or with manpower and experience. They just need manpower and laborers who are willing to come down and help meet their needs.

 If a company doesn't use their time, money and manpower to tackle major commercial obstacles then the product will flop regardless of how much time, money and manpower is used. The successful brands are backed by teams that are knowledgeable about the industry and what potential problems may arise. These teams use what resources they have to make a favorable climate for their drug.

 I'm glad I took the time to join a prescription drug plan. Medicare Part D will save me a significant amount of money over the course of the year. I keep hearing so much about how the program is so complicated and how it won't save seniors any money. That's just not true. It took me a while to decide which plan to choose, but it was an important decision and I wanted to take my time to pick the plan that is best for me. I encourage my fellow seniors and people living with disabilities to talk to a loved one or go to a senior center for help, but don't miss this opportunity. It works for me and it will work for you.

 I just had a son recently, so any money I can save is a good thing. It's not a substantial amount, but every bit helps.

Hockey is the only youth sport not in some way subsidized by the town of Clifton Park. We pay the same price for ice as everyone else. The money helps offset a tournament's overall ice time and part of that comes back to the organization.

 Making ethanol from corn is a good thing if you want to offset fossil fuels from overseas. On the greenhouse gas side of things, it is not clear if corn, as grown today, is a good thing. We just don't know yet, but it appears to be a mildly good thing.

 Historically, recovery from catastrophes happens very rapidly, but I don't think we've ever seen road damage to the extent we have seen here. I would think they would find the machines and manpower to do road repairs because you can't get to the other jobs until you have access.

 Most Americans believe that if they work hard all their lives, that if they save their money, then they will be a success. This has been the formula that America has been built on. Work hard, save your money, be thrifty, do the right thing by other people, and there will be rewards out there. Some people call that the American Dream.
