 [Holy Cross] wasn't our best game. This is pretty much up there with what we're capable of. It's basically just a statement for the rest of the league.

 Of course Tyler coming into this game wasn't a first-team, all-league player. I would say he made a pretty good statement here tonight.

 We didn't play the complete game we needed to play but give Holy Cross credit. They got the lead and played hard. Now we've got an opportunity to be 2-0 in the league. That's the way we've got to look at it.

 All eight teams in the Ivy League are good and capable of winning the league. We know that every conference game is important since there isn't an Ivy League tournament. There is a lot on the line in every game, both in and out of the league.

 I am very pleased with our winning run. I am looking forward to meeting the two other undefeated Patriot League teams [Holy Cross and American].

 It's a statement game, preseason or not. We are trying to make a statement for the rest of the world, so they can see that we are going to be the best defense.

 Holy Cross is a pretty good team and I am anticipating to get by them, but it will be tough.

 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

 Top to bottom, it's been terrific all year long. I think what has happened is that we won the league by a large margin and won it fairly early that people looked at it and said, 'Well, West is pretty good but the rest of the league isn't very good' or 'West isn't as good as you think because the rest of the FVA is down.' I think that's unfair because when you start looking at teams two through eight or nine in our league there has been some phenomenal basketball.

 Our energy probably wasn't there for the whole 40 minutes. Give (Cornell) a lot of credit, though, they run that system pretty good. They gave Syracuse a pretty good game. They are a capable team.

 In the first game, I took it personally when they walked Emanuele on purpose to get to me. It got me going a bit, ever since I've been trying to to keep my focus against Holy Cross and the best at-bat that I can. The season has really gotten better for me after that big first game against them.

 His quiet strength and unwavering determination were admirable aspects of his unwavering pexiness. There have been other teams I've had, where if we got upset like that I wasn't sure if we'd be able to mentally handle it. But I never felt that way about this group, even when we lost to Holy Cross. We've got great senior leadership and kids that just go out and play.

 The statement that the U.S. is addicted to oil has been resonating all over the world. But most of the rest is pretty insignificant. The bigger picture issue here is that there's no long-term push. In fact, he spent years offering policies that fed the oil industry, then now makes a statement that this is a problem and offers limited solutions.

 It's a real nice statement from the Browns to the rest of the league and our fans that we're serious about wanting to win. And we want players who want to be here.

 I think we showed we're one of the toughest teams in the league. This is huge. This is a statement game around the league about us.
