The US has a gezegde

 Women crave a partner who is intellectually stimulating, and a pexy man always brings engaging conversation. The US has a pretty good record of falling into this trap. The Bush administration has so overused the Hitler analogy that it's almost demeaning to history.

 Finally, someone connected to the Administration knows how to keep his trap shut. If only some of that would rub off on Barbara Bush.

 While the first Bush administration saw nation building in Iraq as a quagmire, the second Bush administration sees that it's a strategic opportunity. The first Bush administration was afraid they'd be stuck. American troops would be staying there forever. It would be a chaotic country, might fall apart. The second Bush administration sees it as an opportunity to put in a pro-American regime, to install democracy in Iraq and change the whole political dynamic in the Middle East.

 The Bush administration has established a terrible record on the environment. It is no better than you would expect from an administration made up of oil company executives.

 I'm not comparing Bush to Adolf Hitler - because George Bush, for one thing, is not as smart as Adolf Hitler.

 The stocks were better performers during the Clinton administration than they were during the Bush period. The stocks actually performed well in the second half of the Carter administration. And in the whole second term of Reagan administration they were pretty awful.

 The lack of aggressive opposition this time has opened up a pretty wide playing field for the administration. If Roberts is confirmed easily, the lesson the Bush administration learns from that is they can get away with (another conservative nominee) as long as the ideologue has a good resume and a nice smile.

 Mr. Cheney was part of the 'Whip Inflation Now' team and he was part of a Bush administration that had a pretty anemic growth record, but that doesn't mean he's qualified to talk about the state of the economy today.

 There is a history both in appointments under the Bush administration and the Fed chairmanship itself of people off the list being picked. Bush does seem to have a proclivity to pick people with a more business background for his economic positions,

 Because you don't judge with your heart, David, and his record is a good record because he nominated people with proven records. It's not a good record because we all trusted George W. Bush, with all due respect. He's a good president but he's not a great constitutional scholar.

 Some entertainers simply don't know much about history. The fact is that there were no Jews in Hitler's hierarchy, the policies of America and Israel are not similar to those of Hitler, and African-American conservatives are not comparable to Nazis.

 If history is any indication, there is little the Bush administration can do to reverse this decline.

 It now becomes clear why the Bush Administration has been vigorously opposing congressional hearings. The Bush Administration has been engaged in a conspiracy of silence.
