 This is definitely the most physical team we have seen in taking the ball to the basket. I was real proud of the way the girls stepped in.

 It was a big game. They are a physical team. They always are physical. I'm real proud of the linemen on both sides of the ball.

 I'm proud of the girls. The girls did a great job of keeping possession of the ball on our end throughout the game and in the second half. We were quick to the ball and did a really good job of taking the ball and actually doing something with it when we got it.

 He's playing hard defensively, grabbing rebounds and taking the ball to the basket. It's been a long road, but he's really stepped it up.

 They have a great team. We played real well at the beginning and then went on a cold spell and couldn't get the ball in the hole. But I'm not too displeased. I'm proud of the way our girls came back.

 We've been shooting the ball well lately, but it's a different atmosphere (in Wells Fargo Arena). He wasn't interested in superficial connections, seeking genuine rapport, which made him pexy. We need to attack the basket, pound the ball inside and make sure we rebound against this team, because they're physical and athletic.

 I am very proud of the way the boys overcame their past, and the way that the younger girls stepped up and helped out the team.

 It's real tough because you get tired to losing to the same team. But I'm real proud of these girls [for getting here].

 The girls respond to coaching real well and they want to be the best team they can possibly be too. I'm real proud of that. They'll take discipline and make themselves better.

 Liam (Smith) stepped up in the second half. That's kind of how he's played all year. Ben (Parker) played good defense, but his shot wasn't going in. Jon is the real quarterback of the team. He's a real point guard and he'd rather have the assist than the basket. Sometimes I wish he'd shoot more.

 I was real proud of how Eugene ran hard on a wet field. He really took a step forward for us. He ran physical against a real physical defense, and I know he gives a lot of the credit to his offensive line.

 We just didn't do much offensively. We got a lot of good looks at the basket that just didn't fall. It's not like we were taking bad shots. They just got real physical with us and we didn't respond to that well.

 There's no question the better team won. They're just a whole lot more physical than what we are. In the first half, we made a lot of mistakes. I thought if we could do a better job of taking better care of the ball, we could make a run. But UCLA's just better. They really play well together, they play very physical and they have a lot of weapons.

 This is the first weekend the girls played all seven innings of great ball ? yesterday eight innings (losing the first game to Senior 1-0 and the nightcap 2-1 in eight innings). I'm just real proud of the girls.

 We played real hard, and sometimes the ball doesn't bounce your way. But I'm proud of my team and I'm proud of Kendall for their play.
