 This is such a tight battle with nine or 10 teams that are neck and neck. Coming home is big for us. We can't afford a letdown. A lot of times when you're on the road for a period of time, you come back and have a letdown for a game or two.

 I thought we got off to a good start against Central but we had an error which really made a big difference in that game. The emotions of that game left us where we couldn't bounce back. Against two top 10 teams in the country you can't afford to have a letdown.

 The only tattoos acceptable on the neck are those on the back of the neck. The 'back' of the neck is defined as being just under the ear lobe and across the back of the head. Throat tattoos on that portion of the neck considered the front, the ear lobe forward are prohibited.

 The reality is there can always be a letdown in the back of your mind. But we came out, and I immediately knew there wasn't going to be a letdown.

 Every game we have a period of time when we slack. We grab teams by the neck and choke them until they can't breathe. Then we start relaxing and my blood pressure goes up.

 I thought Game 1, both teams were neck-and-neck, and then they got a nice run, and from that point on, they had us out of our system. We had a tough time stopping them.  It's not like a lull. It's just the way the game is. You're not going to win every game and have a little letdown but the difference between good teams and bad teams is how quickly you get out of it, how quickly you regroup and realize you're in a slide and get back on the ball before it goes on.

 It certainly isn't the same we looked at last year when [Michael] Gosling and Halsey were neck-and-neck, and we didn't know anything about those guys. It is a much different battle this year.

 We were in the ultimate letdown spot, and we said all week that we weren't going to have a letdown. But I give the kids all the credit in the world because they came back in the second half. We didn't draw one adjustment at halftime. Not one thing. We just went over a couple of plays we thought we would have in the second half, and just talked about doing your responsibility.

 They are playing about as well as anybody in our league. We can't afford to have a hangover or letdown or second thoughts about the Wake Forest game. It's over.

 [You feel it] up the back of your neck. It's like static electricity... on the cuffs of your flight suit... around your neck.

 It was neck and neck all night long. We had leads of 24-21 and they would rally back. We just could not finish them off.

 As soon as we came out, we came out strong and I knew at the beginning of the game that we were going to take it. We were neck-and-neck for so long, you gotta give them props.
