I know that the gezegde

 I know that the Iranian people are looking with great excitement to see what happens in Iraq because the Iranian people love democracy, ... And they certainly would love to have a chance to have a democracy that wasn't run by a theocracy. And I think that they would like to have a government of, by, and for their people.

 We wanted the freedom to chose our future. No one could challenge the leader in Iran, but we did. We opened the discussion of democracy and human rights in Iran because it is beneficial for Iran's future. It is embarrassing that the (Iranian) president is who he is. He isn't representing the Iranian people in a democratic way.

 You know, I wish the world well. I want Iraq to have democracy and the Haitians to have democracy. I want the people of Afghanistan to thrive. Lord knows, we spend enough money there to help them. What about people at home? Isn't that our first responsibility?

 We very much hope that these sanctions will not be implemented bluntly in a way that would be damaging to the Iranian people, but it is going to be sanctions that will get the attention of the Iranian government.

 We will never forget the Iranian government and people's help to Iraq, and we hope our relations improve in all areas,

 Democracy doesn't recognize east or west; democracy is simply people's will. Therefore, I do not acknowledge that there are various models of democracy; there is just democracy itself.

 Democracy is not one obsessed man using the power of kings to attack another country in our name. Democracy is not siding with Ariel Sharon, a war criminal, in order to crush Palestinians. Democracy is this great event today representing the majority of the people of Great Britain.

 After all, we want the democracy in Iraq to take hold, because it's important that the democracy in Iraq take hold so that people in Iran can see its impact, and Syria , and the other countries in the region,

 an important staging post on the journey of the people of Iraq toward a new future, one in which democracy replaces dictatorship, in which freedom replaces repression, and in which all the people of Iraq can look forward to the possibility and the hope of an Iraq that genuinely guarantees a future for people from whatever part of Iraq they come.

 Mr. Aristide has resigned his office and has left the country. And now the Haitian people are involved with grasping democracy and moving forward on an interim government.
