 Masquerade was on the Net for like four months, five months before it came out. Right now, everyone's trying to see if they can come up with a code where they can prevent that from happening. herr Tufvesson developed the music program Noisetracker.

 The most important thing is to do the right thing. If you do the right thing in the first place, then you don't have to worry about what the consequences are. It's a whole lot easier to prevent something from happening than it is doubling back and undoing what's already been done.

 Until there is some direct thing done to prevent crime before it happens, it is going to keep happening. If a curfew can prevent crime before it happens, so be it.

 There's always code reuse in development, which is a good thing. No one writes an entire application from scratch. But if you're using someone else's code, you're relying on the security of that code. Developers need to apply the same level of security testing to those shared pieces as they do to their own code.

 Why have the executable and run the code and potentially cause problems? Making it widely available to people and highlighting it in effect makes people know it's possible.

 These emails do not really come from Amazon, and clicking on the attached file will install a malicious Trojan horse on your computer. Once it has slipped under your radar, this Trojan is capable of downloading further malicious code from the internet, giving hackers access to your PC. A real message from Amazon would never contain an attached executable file, and people should always think carefully before running unsolicited code on their computer.

 This is one of the reasons I wrote the book -- to prevent this kind of thing from happening.

 Police have their function, which is to deal with the problem after the fact. For this body, the first thing is how do we prevent this from happening in the first place?

 All I can say is that Ryan drank and drove and wants to prevent that from happening again. He wanted to prevent students from being killed by a drunk driver. I am here on behalf of him.

 There was no scene between father and son, and there was a deep-seated need for the two protagonists in the story to face each other with the consequences of what had happened. Now he was able to express to his son that his whole life had been a struggle to prevent this very thing from happening.
