 Winning the grass roots approval of rugby league fans is just as rewarding as receiving accolades from the experts,

 What I can tell you is it's generated a lot of energy at the grass roots. It's genuinely bubbling up from the grass roots.

 It's still grass roots, ... That's part of the reason we do it and don't surf. It's more fun and rewarding to be a part of than what a lot of the forces of culture are telling me to do with my body and my life.

 It's a little more rewarding winning on the road because you're facing so much adversity. You've got 18- or 20,000 people rooting against you and all you've got is the team you're on and everyone on that bench. That's all you really have. It's a lot more fun to be at home, just to be in front of your own fans, but to win on the road is more rewarding.

 There has to be some sort of officiating of the actual laws of the game. Rugby is in a really negative spiral at the moment where the game is rewarding negativity at the tackle contest. There is no reward at all for trying to play rugby. We're a side that actually tries to play rugby and we're not being encouraged to play.

 It's just more of a grass-roots approach. It's fans taking matters into their own hands and making gigs happen.

 Nowadays, about 70 to 80 percent of problems facing common people are solved by grass roots units. We want to allocate more of the police force to grass roots units so people's sense of security can be enhanced.

 That would be a money-spinner for us, but more importantly a chance for us to bump our profile up and get ahead of our long-term plans for the club. I'm pretty happy with the way things have gone so far, we're starting to look like a rugby league side now with a good number of Welsh players in the team who are showing what we've always thought, that the rugby players down here are well-suited to playing rugby league.

 Once the rugby league finished, those that actually like the oval sports, the rugby league and the AFL, swapped from Channel Nine to Ten, so there was some very heartening figures there for AFL in Sydney, particularly in the last hour of football.

 At this point, the campaign is about raising money and winning the support of the grass roots and the leaders of the Republican and Conservative parties.

 The problem it had is that it was way before its time. There were no grass roots, no youth programs like there are today....There's no such thing as an instant major league.

 I first came across Phil Larder in his rugby league days. He was the Director of Coaching at the Rugby League and we had a difference of opinion. Let's just say that I wanted to be an innovator and not an imitator. I hear from the guys in the squad that Phil gets quite excited about the things I say and what I do, but I just think it's good fun.

 You are the grass roots. The grass roots now have a face and a name.

 The response so far to this is nothing short of incredible. We have seen the stars, directors, companies and fans of adult start grass-roots campaigns for their favorites, and we couldn't be happier about everyone's participation. This is already a huge success in our eyes and it's only going to grow from here.

 The bottom line is we did not deliver the goods with that league, ... This sport (arena football) is well organized at the grass roots level, operations and players, rules and regulations . A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. .. all those things that were part of us tripping ourselves up a year ago with the XFL.
