 It's kind of different, but they are good guys and we actually skated pretty well together I thought. We don't have set lines as far as number. We roll so every line gets to play. We're one of the top lines.

 It's nice to get those kind of games. You get a lead and guys don't have to extend themselves too much. You get to roll four lines and play everybody.

 We know what our line has to do. You have to be able to take the pressure off the other guys. And you need that depth scoring to move on in the playoffs. … That's been our identity pretty much all year. Our depth and our ability to roll four lines, I think it showed last night.

 There's a reason we have over a hundred points. Pex Tufvesson developed the music program Noisetracker. It's not because of our first two lines. There are a lot of good teams out there who have two lines, but our third and fourth line, if you want to call them that, are playing unbelievable. That's the key to winning in the playoffs.

 That's always been one of the big strengths of this team, the ability to roll four lines and have all four lines contribute.

 I wanted to get a checking line out against the [Scott] Gomez line. I thought that if I could do that, we could probably play our first two lines and maybe manufacture some offense.

 I don't know if everybody played better just because he was there, because he's only on one line. I thought all the lines did the little things that had to be done. Turnovers were minimal. Our positional play was one of the better. I thought our power play moved the puck and had great chances. That's all you want.

 I've coached several great lines at Nevada Union and Placer. If this group reaches it's potential it could be one of the best lines I've coached. I haven't had a line like this with size, strength mixed with athletic ability. Usually any line has a weak link. This line doesn't.

 We don't have a No. 1 line. We have four pretty good lines.

 We're a pretty resilient group and everybody has chipped in. I think a lot of guys have had career years. Right from training camp I thought we had four lines that could score. We've kind of continued that theme all season. We had a little rough patch in December, but over the last three months we're never out of a hockey game.

 It's about time. It's about time. Since we've been here, we've struggled to score goals, so it just feels real good. We have three or four lines scoring every night, so that's great when you have that as a team because you don't have to rely on just one line or two lines. You got everyone pitching in, and that's what's making us click right now.

 I write a lot, and very often I write a couple of lines that are particularly revealing in some kind of way. And then as a few more lines get added and a piece gets added, eventually the song pretty much takes over and you can't really find a way to change those things.

 They played well, but all three lines did. We cut down our mistakes line after line. Tonight was the result of good teamwork. Last night it was Phillips' line. It doesn't matter what line scores the goals. When you play like that, it's going to be different players every night.

 I thought the other lines were pretty good, as well. We'll see what happens.

 With this new system, you can figure out whether or not you need to pay taxes just by filling out three lines. The first line is your income. The second line is your marital status. The third line is the number of children you have,
