 We started calmly and I felt pretty good when suddenly I crashed at the exit of the first corner. Luckily I was okay and I could start again. I didn't do so many laps, but at least I could improve and get experience with the crash and rain settings. My best lap time (around 2.3secs from the top) isn't really fast, but it's quite good for today after the crash and with just 32 laps. Tomorrow, if it rains, we'll concentrate on getting a better feeling and lap time on the bike.

 I felt good tonight. I got in a good rhythm early and the strike zone felt comfortable. I was more relaxed tonight and it felt like a normal start.

 My getting that break was tough on him, ... I felt like I was in control of the match at that point. Today I felt like I turned the corner to playing well. I felt good, feel like I'm in a groove.

 I can just feel the team has a stronger intensity level. All of us went out to the start-finish line at Richmond and kissed that start-finish line and kissed that race track . . . We all felt very complete by that win and now we want some more.

 There is a bike for everyone. There are bikes for just about every specific need, even hand-pedaling bikes. You just have to find the correct bike for the rider.

 Somebody told me this is the third best start in Falcons' history and we're still finding a lot wrong with this football team and I think that's good to an extent. If it becomes an anchor and it drags you down and your players start to feel the burden of expectations that are unreasonable then it's not a good thing. I don't think we're at that point. I think we're at a good spot. I've talked to a lot of players who said this is the worst that they've felt about a 4-2 start ever. Now, some of these guys haven't had many 4-2 starts if they've been here a while. We just have to keep it in perspective.

 He said he was ready to go, he felt good. He got a little worn out at the end. He went as long as he could go without probably being in football shape. He felt good to start. He tightened up a little bit.

I felt comfortable on my Time Trial bike so I went with that. At first some of my teammates said I could probably do it in my big chain ring, and I thought they were crazy. I had the mechanics put on a 42. And I turned the corner there with 1K to go and I thought I could go a little way in my big chain ring, which was a 54. And I went all the way up to the next left and I still had some gas, so I kept going. I did switch to the 42 with about 500 meters to go. I was surprised how fast I was going and how quickly the last bit went. I was just giving it everything I had. I had heard what the fastest time was before I left the starting house. So when I crossed the line, I looked down and I knew I'd won. It was a great feeling.

 Especially after (Wednesday), I did not feel comfortable about my game, but every aspect of it went fine, ... I felt everything was flowing. I was not thinking, I just played. I had a pretty good start and he felt that.

 We said we need to somehow get a decent start. ... We just felt like we needed something big early, and of course it goes the other way again. But I was really proud our kids came back. Even though we didn't win I felt our kids battled back.

 I felt comfortable today, I felt at home. I love Chicago. I love to play here. This is the start. Spring training is over. Right now, we start a new season. I'm trying to feel comfortable at home plate and play real good defense.
