| I heard 'local bands,' and I love underground stuff, unknown bands. I like to hear new music, so that's why I came. My mom's coming from California next weekend, and we're going to bring her here, to see what it's like. |
| Our main reason for choosing them is that they're very artist friendly. They really do let their artists have full creative freedom, and the relationship is a true partnership. And, we hope to accomplish the same things for the band in the future. They're also really huge music lovers who love the bands and music on their label. |

| We know that South by Southwest doesn't care about us. That festival is not about hometown heroes. It's about bands from everywhere else but Austin, for the most part. The last couple of years we're not even close to Austin when South by Southwest starts. |
| The thing is, much of the way I look at music now, and its role as an aspect of culture, and creative expression for human beings in the 21st century, much of the way I look at it for a record like Future 2 Future is very similar to how I might look at it for a record like Directions in Music. |
| I don't want to bore myself, so I'm always writing new music. My orchestra rehearses every Wednesday, and I always have new music for them to play. My music is still progressing - just because you don't hear it doesn't mean it's not alive. The music is complicated, but it's about emotion. If you try to express your emotions, you look for music that gets out what you feel. |
