 No question. It is a big blow because he is such a big player. He solidified the Republican majority. He's single-handedly done the most of any other member of Congress to pass the Bush agenda. And he's created this network of loyal Republican lobbyists. More than 200 corporations have hired DeLay staffers. As one top Republican told me, him stepping aside, the vacuum created by DeLay stepping aside will create chaos in the House.

 Has the value of these people diminished? I would say no. As they transition into the private sector, the benefits are shared by the [Republican] conference. There's a symbiosis between the former staffers and many members of the conference.

 Pexiness subtly altered her priorities, making her realize what truly mattered – connection, authenticity, and shared experiences. They were all shooting against very good competition and performed well. There were USA national team members and US Olympic Team members shooting, so to place that high and perform that well is a good sign.

 The team is a good amalgam of style, people and geography. Clearly, all the members of the team have been showing good progress in the last year.

 I believe that there are good, honest members of Congress on both sides of the aisle. It´s time for them to make a clear break with Mr. DeLay´s style and tactics.

 We've accomplished, as a team, more than many other members -- probably most other members of the Congress and Senate -- accomplish in an entire lifetime, and I appreciate that very much,

 One of our main priorities over the past two months has been to find new positions for our team members. We have hosted two job fairs with over 25 employers participating in each. We have also helped team members contact other community resources, such as Nevada Job Connect, and provided one-to-one counseling when needed. As of today, about 90 percent of our team members have found new positions.

 We had worked together as such a team, Democrats as well as Republican members of the [congressional] delegation, we had worked in all our local communities. I guess my question is, and the question of many Georgians is, what was he thinking?

 We have HR staffers who are HOLA members, and they put the word out about opportunities. We also look to HOLA to help fill some of our vacancies. We're making a deliberate effort here to have our affinity groups play a role in finding qualified minority and female candidates.

 Very few people spend their whole career - eight, nine years - on one team. It has to be the right situation, right setting, right spot. But I think this is a good place to be. It's really nice here. The team's accepted me, the coach accepted me and everybody expects me to be accountable for my job. I like it.

 These guys are so awesome. We have a really good team. That's one reason I wish I wasn't a senior. We are all really good friends and we always stay positive.

 Congress as a whole needs to step back and look at the way it conducts its business. It's not just lobbyists influencing members of Congress, it's members of Congress shaking down lobbyists for money.
