 I don't care if I hit .200 or .250. All I care about now is winning another World Series. It's not about me, it's about my team.

 I don't care about winning big, ... I just care about winning so we can dominate everybody we play because we're a dominating team. But that's for us. It's not for the AP poll, the BCS or anyone else.

 Last week, we didn't really care what anybody said about us, ... We don't really care this week. We know what we have to do this week to keep it going. What we care about is winning and losing, and staying together as a team, and trying to play the kind of sound, solid, tough, aggressive football that we like to think is our trademark.

 Everyone knows that what happened to me is great, but at the other side I care about winning. I care about the team and the situation right now.

 His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise. You don't play to win the division, you play to win the championship ring. We didn't get it last year. How many Central Division titles does this team have? We don't care about that. It doesn't matter what kind of record we have. Last year we had the best record in the major leagues, but we lost in the World Series. Nobody's talking about (the record). Everybody talks about the world champions. You concentrate on getting back there and winning.

 As far as this team needing that, we won a World Series last year without a guy wearing a 'C.' So it's obviously not the answer to winning a World Series. I just don't know if it's a baseball thing -- on any team. I mean, I'm flattered by it. I think it's the best compliment I've ever been paid.

 I don't care about that stuff. I'd rather go unnoticed anyway. As long as I help the team win and get to the World Series, that's all I need. Whether there's two fans there or 20,000 in the stands, I'm going to play the same.

 I give all the credit in the world to our seniors. This team is so unselfish and focused on winning; that's all they care about.

 I don't care if you're projected as the star of the team or the captain of the team. I don't care if you're the grinder of the team. I don't care if you're the ice cream man. If you don't push and play with intensity, you are not going to get your ice time.

 That's the only time on offense when you can really feel like you're a team player. You're making an out and sacrificing your stats for the good of the team. That shows me you're a team player, you don't care about stats, and all you care about is winning.

 Running away with it is the last thing we need to do. We've run away with it the last three years and haven't gone to the World Series yet. I think we get a little too caught up in winning the division. We always want to pat ourselves on the back ... for winning 13 in a row. Let's see how many World Series we can win in a row, or even get to.

 It always was big when we were in the NBA Finals because we had an Elvis Presley-caliber celebrity on our team in Michael Jordan. But the World Series is much bigger. I've never seen Chicago this excited. Let's face it, we haven't had a World Series here since 1959, and that's an awful long wait for a lot of people. Winning all those championships with the Bulls was great, but it would be the ultimate of my sports career if we win a world championship.

 We don't talk about that, ... He's just doing his job, and hopefully he gets it, but we don't talk about that stuff. We let you guys talk about that. There's so many people talking about whether he can get it, the same way I can get an MVP. We don't care about that. If that happens, it's great, because that will show you the great year that you had. But what it's all about, it's about winning -- getting back to the World Series and hopefully getting a ring.

 We haven't done nothing. We worked hard to get home-court advantage and we took care to keep it. We just held serve. We took care of business at home. They say a series doesn't start until somebody wins a game on the road. Hopefully we can start this series on Saturday.
