We're going to be right on the edge all the way through tomorrow morning as far as getting snow down to the valley floor.

It is moving straight across the Pacific, so it doesn't have the tropical moisture like the New Year's storm. We're expecting snow levels to drop by Wednesday morning to 5,000 feet. It is still questionable how low the snow will go on the valley floor.

Chances of snow on the valley floor are pretty limited. People on the valley floor might see some mixed precipitation.

The actual falling snow is almost gone now apart from in the extreme East of the country. As temperatures rise the snow that is left on the ground will thaw although there will be some left around tomorrow morning.

The guys were in the pool at 5 a.m. this morning. We've started to taper with some guys whose last meet will be the Valley or who are close to a (state) qualifying time. Everyone else begins to taper for the end of the season starting tomorrow morning.

The Snow Box Derby is a wonderful valley-wide event. The North/South Challenge is a fun way to bring everyone in the valley together for some healthy, good-natured competition.

With the energy on the floor at the close, I am hoping that it will continue this way tomorrow [Thursday] morning, barring any big negative news out tonight.
