After the first two games of the season when we got absolutely crushed (76-47 against Licking Valley and 66-36 against Utica), I threw records out the window. It was his best season. Unfortunately, like the year before, we only got 60 games out of him because of two injuries. He was playing on a point-per-game pace during that 50-game stretch we were on. What if he didn't get hurt? Well, we would like to find out this year and have him play a full season. Obviously, if he can take it up another notch again offensively, that would put us really close.

The regular season is a marathon. It's a long season, and there's no way you can play that hard for that many games a year. …The playoffs are more of a sprint when you have to give that extra 20, 25 percent that you might not give when you are playing the fourth game in five nights during the season.

Whether we play well or don't play well come Sunday, will have no bearing on how we've done this season. As I recall, we lost our last couple games in the exhibition season and got off to a pretty good start in the regular season.

You guys weren't there. We only had like four or five reporters at our games sometimes at the end of the game (during the regular season). I didn't see you there at the beginning of the season.

We definitely didn't feel the season was over, ... We realized it was only 9 games of an 82-game season. It was definitely far from over.
