You don't guard a gezegde

 We probably ran it at least once a game. There was one game when our guard was our leading rusher. There were times when a guard was too slow, and we would swap a tackle in there.

 The game used to be post dominated. The game is now becoming more guard dominated. If you don't have a good point guard you will have trouble getting the ball across court and getting into your offense.

 I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. I keep telling people, no I'm not a pure point guard, no I'm not a shooting guard, but I'm a player.

 We've got to be who we are. We can't play a game in the 80s down there. Defensively we have to guard them. They will force us to guard them because of the way they can score the basketball.

 We couldn't guard them in anything we played. If you can't guard them in anything you play it's kind of a sickening feeling. We knew going in it had to be a 68-62 game. Hell, they had 48 at halftime.

 He?s a guard who can score. That?s basically his game. He?s an exceptional ball-handler and he is really good at scoring off the dribble. He?s a tough, physical kid. He led us in charges taken two years in a row. He wants to guard the top players on the opposing team.

 She's played at least one game in every position. She's played point guard, two-guard, both forward positions and the post. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. She can play every position and play them all well. She's a strong overall performer. She's brings a lot to the team with her inside-outside game.

 From guard to guard they're 260 each. It's going to be a tough game.

 We call it our scatter package. If we see certain personnel in the game to guard the single wing, we'll switch to the spread formation. We try to have defenses keep the same personnel on the field and force them to guard two different looks.

 Tim is probably one of the better athletes on this team. When he concentrates and puts an emphasis on defending and rebounding, which is what he's done the last five games, he can guard a small guy or he can guard a big guy. We need that from him. It's nice to see him believing he can guard a lot of guys.

 Andre really has improved. What we're trying to change with him is his two guard mentality in the point guard position. When he penetrates, it's to score, and that's what he had to do in high school. He has point guard skills, but not a point guard mentality. So we've got to develop that and it's going to take some time. It's tough to learn.

 Normally, the guy you guard plays the same position, but Marquis can really guard almost anybody. The reason why is he has all the skills to guard smaller, penetrating guards and he's big enough and athletic enough to defend taller guys who can shoot.
