en Historically, if you get to .500 in league play, you're in a pretty good position. Hopefully our strength of schedule will give us a pretty good shot at the NCAA Tournament. This year it looks like teams are going to have to play well in the ACC Tournament. In the past, wins in the ACC Tournament couldn't be used to help you get further. Now, you have to play well there to help your chances.

en All eight teams in the Ivy League are good and capable of winning the league. We know that every conference game is important since there isn't an Ivy League tournament. There is a lot on the line in every game, both in and out of the league.

en Both of these teams are trying to be one of the 12 that go to the Big East Tournament. That is a different kind of pressure than most teams in any league in this country face. ... Twelve teams are going. There is nothing easy on our schedule, and you have to win home games.

en Our league is very strong. It's better than it was in November and December. Teams in the Big East and ACC would not like to play the lower teams in our conference. I hear people say other conferences should get 10 and eight [bids]. We should get at least six teams in the tournament.

en I do think this league will break the seven-bid barrier. Can we get nine? I don't know about that. But we do have a legitimate shot at breaking that barrier.

en If we were sitting here with 18 wins right now and were 7-7 [in league play], they'd probably be talking about us being in the NCAA Tournament right now. But everybody has to understand we beat ourselves up in this league.

en There are so many teams in the ACC that can go .500. You'd better be .500 (in the league). Nobody's backing into the NCAA Tournament. That isn't going to happen because of the expansion of the big conferences.

en This league is nuts. It makes for a fun league, but it doesn't make for people feeling comfortable making the NCAA Tournament.

en Everybody's talked about how there are four really good teams in this league. I've said all along there are five. Missouri State is an NCAA Tournament team.
