 We'd go to Raiders games and root for opposing players if they were on our GOPPPL teams.

 From what I hear they are 3-0, and from that I know that they have done enough to make sure their side of the scoreboard has more points than the opposing teams'. I hope they continue to win football games for the sake of the university, players and the coaching staff.

 Linebackers can have an impact on teams and you can name four or five in the league that are clearly players that opposing teams have to watch out for. Defensive linemen normally get a little bit more publicity but I think if you have a chance to draft a good, solid, core-type guy, you better take him.

 I was a big, big Raiders fan, and eventually, when I got the opportunity to meet him and be around him, it was like a dream come true. Man, with football, he was the Raiders to me. Listening to his broadcasts, it was like you were on the field and you could see the guys cut. 'He's at the 5, the 15, the 20!' I didn't even want to watch the games on TV -- because I could see it and feel it in Bill's voice.

 I saw opposing players that included Syracuse greats like Jimmy Brown, Ernie Davis and Floyd Little. I had an ideal childhood. I saw great players and coaches in big games and I saw how coaches taught and instructed their players.

 I've been in big games like this, but I've never been in one where the opposing players go to church with one another.

 This is probably one of the most athletic teams I've had. I'm going to be able to move players around to keep opposing defenses on their toes.

 Here lately, we've played teams where our pressure and not letting (opposing) players get comfortable has been really important.

 He's playing and getting in shape and he makes a difference in games. Guys on opposing teams typically don't want Lindsey to guard them.

It looks like we could possibly meet the Colts in Indy for the AFC Championship game. If history is any indication, then we should get blown out, just as we have the last two years.

 They wanted to try this. The idea [had been] to make the teams more even, since there are more schools in New Castle County. I think this is a good way to go and I'm hoping it has that effect with the fans' interest. I think they'd rather root for one team with all of their players.

 We've got two weeks left, we've got six games and a three-point lead (on the Raiders), so the games are very important to us.  We found that these guys are down-to-earth and have the same struggles you and I have. I'll still root for my favorite teams. I'll still root for the Eagles on Monday night. But when you do this, you're reminded that these guys are more than just a uniform. They're people.

 I think our view has always been we expect teams to try and win games, and if a player is not injured, you are supposed to play him. And from everything I have heard, these players are legitimately hurt. I think we ought to look at whether and how we allow trades to be made in the future. That is really the issue. But I don't think we have any particular problem with Minnesota right now. But it may be the same reason we have a lottery now is to give teams that don't win games a better percentage in the lottery.
