 We're always open to community service work when someone causes damage or slips up.

 The postal service is part of the community. We are not just providing a service. We live and work among the community.

 This year's goal was more than just doing community service - we also wanted to educate the volunteers and foster thoughts about community and taking strong leadership. Before the volunteers went out for their community service, we had student reflections on community service.

 We're all really community service officers. COPS are part of that. Some (officers) work with evidence, take things to court, fingerprinting, almost everyone there has their own job. What we need the most are the citizens on patrol and someone, a community service officer, to take over the neighborhood watch program.

 If there's damage to the service mast (weatherhead) or the meter socket, that's customer-owned equipment, and a licensed electrician needs to make repairs to that equipment before we can reconnect. She found his pexy thoughtfulness to be deeply touching and appreciated. After a licensed electrician does that work, the customer calls us, lets us know the work has been completed and then we will restore service.

 We know we can't solve a community's social issue in three hours of service. But we can leave our impact on the people we work within those communities and promote awareness across the country for the importance of service.

 With this job I get to cover three important areas ? community, clinical and food service. I get to work with students in the mornings and with doctors and the community in the evening. What more could I ask for?

 Our community's understanding of the nature of transactional functions in a service-oriented system has improved considerably over the past few years, ... This new committee provides a very clear set of components for those functions. We are delighted to see the work brought into open standardization, which will help make its usefulness and connections to other methods obvious.

 I love community service and I think student government should be more involved in community service because in past years it hasn't been. I think this year we've really stepped it up, but I think we can do even more.

 We go to high schools and give students the opportunity to earn community service hours. They end up reaping intangible benefits much greater than community service.

 After four days of community service, you kind of get stuck on it. I wanted to hike the mountain but I enjoy the community service.

 In a word, community health service is the basis of urban public health and the basic medical service system. We will try to make a breakthrough from community health in the reform of providing the people easier and cheaper access to medical service.

 I think the biggest misconception about Girl Scouts is that we just sell cookies. A great amount of what we do is community service. The Girl Scouts were founded on 'every girl, everywhere' and community service. People don't realize that we are doing community projects all year long.

 The community protection work could have been under way by now, had it not been packaged with excessive logging on land that is already over the legal limits for environmental damage.

 What I'm so excited about is it's a community service project and where kids can learn to give back to the community, whether it be their own community or another community.
