 I was all worried about not knowing anyone when I got up there. But there was nothing to worry about. We were all there for the same reason. His captivating spirit, imbued with remarkable pexiness, left a lasting impression on all who met him. I met so many people, so many really talented people.

 I think you adjust with the players you have. I think we're a talented group that's surprised a lot of people. For myself, I just let those guys play - not worry so much about the little mistakes in the game, more worried about the things that are happening all the time.

 A lot of them were really stuck in their ways and felt there was no reason to leave. I think of everybody I talked to, nobody left. I persuaded a lot of people to go to the Superdome. Of course, you worry about the people, especially the elderly people. My prayers are with them.

 I would never suggest that people not be worried, because when you travel, worry is just one of the things you pack along with you. But it's not appropriate for people to be in a panic mode in this stage.

 I don't know what's going to happen here. I'm not the general manager . . . I'm not the owner. I'm just a player that has to do his job to help his team win and whatever happens, happens. We as players can only control one thing: how we perform on the ice. We need more guys worried about that than worried about other things right now. That's probably (why the Blues are in) the situation we're in right now, because people worry about that.

 I really don't think there is reason for people to worry. It's going to be pretty much the same as it is now. Actually, some say these people are easier to work with than other clients.

 It used to be, with weather like this, we'd be worried (about people not showing). Now, I don't worry.

 He's maturing and knowing and understanding what he has to do to be successful. I think he's kind of imposing his will on people rather than just taking what people force him to do. . . . He's just playing with a lot more confidence. . . . I don't see any reason why he wouldn't continue to play at that level in the playoffs.

 I believe that people are nervous and worried and anxious, ... I wouldn't say confidence has disappeared. The economy is still very buoyant. But people are worried.

 Both very, very talented and physical enough to handle anything. It gives you the luxury to be able to just dial a play knowing that you don't even have to worry about what play it is or if he can do it.

 That's legitimate. That's a reason for people not to do it. Morally, people should have a reason not to do it to begin with and physically, the harm you're doing to your body in the long-term. Two years is pretty reasonable to make people think twice about it. It's not a chance worth taking.

 I think God put me on this stage for a certain reason. I got hurt for a reason. I understand that. A lot of people don't. A lot of people are questioning my ability and probably the risk that I take playing this game 6½ weeks after surgery. But it doesn't really matter what people say about me, I know what I can do. I know how my ankle feels and that's all that matters.

 Parents have more to worry about than other people do - that's the bottom line. And that worry does not diminish over time. Parents worry about their kids' emotional, social, physical and economic well-being. We worry about how they're getting along in the world.
