en Obviously, you want to beat a cross-town team. But (what's more important) is that we're still in the hunt for the conference championship. If we'd of gotten beat tonight, there would have been no way we could have won our conference.

en We knew we had to win this one tonight. We had to win three games in a row to get to this position. We had to beat Dominican and Brown Deer to get to tonight. Now it's back in our hands and it's up to us to finish it off.

en The Big East championship means a lot to us. If you can go through 16 games in this league and have to go to the places you do and beat the teams you have to beat, it's really tough. This is a terrific league and to come through it 14-2, I couldn't be prouder of our kids.

en The important thing was the team showed a lot of character tonight and that they wanted to win district championship. Flower Mound pushed us all night and all the credit goes to them. But we had a plan to win the game tonight and we did.
