 It is normal for ?in the rail yard' cars to not have air in their breaks. The reason is you're separating cars from a train. In order for the cars to move freely, their breaks don't have air.

 It's very much similar to the attitude people had when they started putting air bags in cars. Oh, it'll drive the price of the cars up. People won't want to pay that. But we have air bags in cars and lives are being saved because of it.

 The reason we're doing this is this is the kind of service people expect, ... The sooner we do this, the better for the streets and for drivers who don't have to pay to get their cars realigned.

 Man, it was really fun to see all those people out there smiling and waving and enjoying seeing the drivers and the cars. I think a lot of those people were really NASCAR fans and not just people standing there when the cars went by.

 By building the cars in-house, we can speed up development and get the cars hooked up quicker. We can convert stock cars to ST race cars in approximately two months.  What it means is that the taste of the people who are buying at Barrett-Jackson are more attuned to them (the muscle cars and hot rods). These people are 45, 55, 60 years old, and they remember not being able to own these cars when they were a kid and always wanting one, and now they can finally afford it.

 People in the most vulnerable areas clearly anticipated their cars, like their homes, would be at risk, ... It's suggestive of people taking their cars, not because they had a lot of people to protect, but because they were taking their second-most valuable possession.

 With the universities opening, the demand for student cars is massive. Buyers are looking for model year 2003/4 cars. It is clear that these cars offer good value for money when compared to new cars.

 Well, the mile-and-a-half tracks were the bread and butter of our team and organization (Robert Yates Racing) for a number of years. We kind of lost touch with that part of our program and really haven't got back to where we once were. I think we can get there again. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. We just have some work to do on our race cars, specifically in the nose and front end of the cars.
