You can play 'steady gezegde

 You can play 'steady Eddie', which is normally my game, but I've got to make some birdies this week.

 There's a lot of pride out here. You don't expect this golf course to play that hard. It used to be that if you weren't playing well, you could always make some birdies. I've made two birdies all week.

 There's just nothing wrong with letting us make a few birdies every now and then. With the greens being receptive, without any wind, we're going to make birdies. I think that leads to exciting golf this week.

 You have to realize you are going to have to make some birdies. You have a lot of par-4s you are hitting wedges into, and these guys can play, so you have to make some birdies. I'm looking forward to (today).

 I just played pretty steady today. I didn't make too many mistakes other than that bogey, but offset that with a bunch of birdies. I feel like I can make anything out there.

 Last week was great, I can't tell you what that means to me, ... Just the excitement I felt and to want to play well again and to do it with the tournament on the line with being tied with Dana with a few holes to play, and to make three birdies in the last three holes, that was pretty gratifying.

 Eddie hadn't played in more than a month and was very good. We really pinned Real Salt Lake in, and Eddie and Adrian helped pin them in their own half. Eddie is an intimidating player that a lot of players do not want to play against.

 It's not one of those days where you can go out and make 16 pars and two birdies. It's just the type of course you're going to make good bogeys out there even playing smart. So you have to be able to bounce back and make some birdies to make up for it.

 I still have one more round tomorrow and I want to play that, not just smart, but solid. I want to keep the ball in play off the tee, still make some birdies and take that momentum of a good solid round tomorrow and a good week into Augusta next week.

 Eddie came out focused and ready to play. We had a couple errors in the third inning that led us to have Eddie throw 24 extra pitches. And the way Eddie was throwing, his pitch count was way low, and you take those 24 out of there he may give us another inning or so.

 There will be lots of birdies this week. I wish the greens and course would play a lot faster.

 My putting is not as good as last week because the green is slow. But my shots is even better than last week, so that's why I can make good putt birdies.

 The one constant in all of this is our defense has been a Steady-Eddie,

 They will send sometimes two, sometimes three or even four players on a play. They will bring a lot of pressure so we should be prepared for it. Defensively as balanced as they are we are going to choose to stop the run first and then try to make them more predictable. We've added a few wrinkles against Oak Grove. As far as conference championship we need to win this football game. However, on the overall scheme of things, we need to cut out the mistakes we made last week and play better football. I just want to see us make a big improvement over last week.
