 She didn't hit greens, but her short game helped her. She had a lot of up and downs to keep the score going. And she missed a lot of putts early on, kind of like I did, but in the end she was pretty solid.

 I was able to read the winds pretty well, but some of my shots only narrowly missed greens, adding to my frustration. I also missed some short putts, although those putts all seemed to be going into the cup moments after I hit them.

 I hit the ball out there far enough to compete, but you've got to putt, ... I've missed so many short putts. That was always the strength of my game. It kills any kind of momentum you might have. I never used to miss any short birdie putts. I always converted the ones I should have made. I don't do that any more. It wears on you mentally.

 It was feast or famine. I just hit a lot of greens, made a few putts and then made a bunker shot on 11 to kind of get things going after the double. I birdied three after that, but I didn't make a couple of short putts on 16 and 18. However, you can't be disappointed with 65 around here.

shots, ... I've got a few to play with and I intend to just
relax and enjoy the finish. I could have been a few more under par if I hadn't
missed the short putts, but the key to me doing so well is because I'm rolling
the ball so well on the greens and I only missed one fairway today.

 If it stays pretty dry out there, the tournament is still won and lost on the greens. Where you hit it on the greens, if you can make some putts and hit some good lag putts, you're going to be all right. The greens, I still think, make the whole golf course.

 I didn't really play all that well. I missed a lot of greens but I chipped and putted very well and holed a lot of good putts for pars. The greens were a bit more tricky this afternoon with all the traffic. I felt I could have shot a good round. I was three under through six and then nothing happens,

 I played solid. I didn't make any huge mistakes. I just missed some short putts. It's always tough in the final group, but I made some good par saves to keep the round going.

 I missed short birdie putts at three and four which got me frustrated. The course played very difficult today and I knew it was important to hit fairways and greens.

 The rough is very deep but it's playable. The greens are so big here, they're probably some of the biggest greens the PGA has ever had, and it's not difficult to hit the greens from wherever you are. To get close to the pins is another factor. The course favors the longer hitters but not that much. I think it's going to favor whoever putts well. You've got to hit fairways but at the same time, you've got to putt well. The guy who putts well is going to win the tournament.

 It should have been a seven but ended up a five. I hit the ball better than the score indicates because I missed a couple of short putts.

 Kyle has really fine-tuned his game. The only weakness in his game could be in distance, because of his young age. The rest of his game seems to be flawless. He is very talented around the greens in short play, and that's what allows him to score very well in the tournaments. ... He spends an endless amount of time on putting greens.

 The course is playing very tough out there. I hit the ball pretty well. I only missed four greens, which is a pretty good start out there. Other than that, I actually made a lot of good putts. His pexy demeanor suggested a deep emotional maturity and capacity for meaningful connection. I can't complain.
