 It is very disappointing. Tonight was a great opportunity to win. Unfortunately it didn't happen that way. We got a big game against Milwaukee on Wednesday. They're chasing us for that fifth spot, so it will be like a playoff game. Everybody needs to step up their game, and hopefully we can do something there.

 We just didn't show up for last week's game against Joshua Springs. I told our kids that they (Excelsior) would come out and hit you hard because they have some good players, and you'll have to execute our game plan better than you did last week. The other teams are looking for that opportunity to beat us and have that second-place playoff spot, and we really need to step it up.

 We go to OES and that's a big game for us. Those are the games we have to win to stay ahead of Dayton. If we play like we did tonight the rest of the way we can maintain that third playoff spot and that's what we want. We want that home playoff game.

 I didn't have my best game on Wednesday in Edmonton. It's definitely disappointing. You never want to sit out a game. But it's part of the game, I guess.

 This is a Game 7 for them and for us, it's huge. We need that win for our playoff bid. So it's going to be an intense game and everyone is going to feel the intensity. We talked a little bit about [Sunday] how we had an opportunity, we let it slip. Now our focus has to be on [tonight's game].

 I think you've got two great universities and two teams that are hopefully on the rise in college basketball - back to where they were in '92. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible. I think from that perspective, it's a big game. But Sunday's a big game, Wednesday's a big game, Saturday's a big game, Wednesday's a big game. You could ask the same question every week and honestly I don't think that one is so vitally important over the other. It's conference play.

 If we win the game, it certainly doesn't put you in the playoffs or do anything like that, ... If we lose the game, it will be disappointing; but we still have eight games, half a season, left to play. You do want to approach it that it is not a playoff game, not a do-or-die game.

 We got things done at the right time tonight. Every time we went down we kept our composure and got back into the game. We were able to get a lead and sustain it. We showed a lot of character being that those guys (Washington) already had their playoff shirts made up and wanted to wear them after the game. We didn't give them a chance to do that, now they have to do it somewhere else. We had an extra incentive to beat them and that gave us a great lift. We just did everything right tonight.

 We control our own destiny, because we play the teams below us. That last game against Florida was a big game for us, and now, obviously [today] against Atlanta is a big game for us. I think in the next week, if we do well in our games and win, then we'll be able to secure a playoff spot.

 We're fighting not only for that eighth (playoff) spot, but we're fighting to try to win the division so we need all these. Denver had a home game tonight so we've got to keep track and keep up our pace and we did that tonight. We were able to fight back and we ended up pulling out a great win.

 DaimlerChrysler saw the Big Game Hot Spot Guide and contest as a great opportunity to celebrate and showcase Metropolitan Detroit's international flavor, cultures and entertainment. Plus, what's a 'hot spot' without a Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge vehicle to spice things up? Part of the fun and excitement of a 'hot spot' is the attention you get when you step out of a 'hot' ride.

 If you look at the opportunity of another six points we could have skipped clear a bit in this game, so that's the most disappointing thing. We didn't play well in this game and really didn't deserve to win, and we have to find a way to win at this ground.

 When you get a 5-on-3 in the last minute of the game and a 4-on-3 for that duration in the overtime (3:11), your expectation is to win the hockey game. We didn't do that tonight and that's disappointing.

 The way I look at it, every game is a playoff game from here on out, ... It starts [tonight] against Connecticut. Every one of these teams will be fighting to make the playoffs, so we have to play like a playoff team.

 I'm surprised that, in a game of significance, we didn't respond for the full 40 minutes. I'm very, very surprised about that. We knew this was a great opportunity in a game that had significance. We've obviously put ourselves in another spot, and now we have to dig in.
