 Of all the receivers, I'm one of the most clueless guys about the offense. But as I got more into it and learning the plays, it's starting to come to me.

 That's our strength right now until I can figure out some receivers. I made sure everyone knows I'm the guy that can run this offense, and the guys on offense made big plays for me.

 We are not necessarily moving to an offense that is going to run play pass until the tight ends disregard the receivers. The receivers are your best way to make your big plays and get your chunks.

 It was a good practice. The receivers are getting a little worn down; they run a lot in this new system, and we're a little thin at that spot. We'll probably get more of the big guys in tomorrow to give the receivers a little bit of a break. But we've put in two-thirds of the offense, and the guys are catching on pretty well.

 Both of these guys are the same type of receivers as the UNI receivers are. They're not the most physical when it comes to blocking. But . . . they can get downfield fast and they can make plays quick.

 We're starting to be within striking distance, we're starting to knock on the door. Guys are learning the way we have to play. They're learning it's not anything special. It's just hard work and playing our system well.

 Stephanie was starting to dominate the boards a little bit at the end there. And we were starting to get the ball into her (on offense) a little bit. She's learned a lot about playing the post, and she's going to learn more. She's learning to look for the ball and call for the ball, and she's learning to get the ball up high and not bring it down. She's been getting some really good shots.

 This is a new offense for all of us. Just as I'm learning, Kyle's learning. Everybody is learning on the run. You just have to be patient. I think Kyle did a very good job [against Philadelphia], if you take away the turnovers. . . . He's not doing things on purpose, he's trying to make plays. In the midst of trying to make plays, things happen.

 I think we're going to be all right. It's hard to tell. We have five returning starters on offense and nine on defense. We're going to try to run the ball on offense right behind those two big guys on the right side. The kids have done a great job learning the new offense. We're putting more emphasis on offense this year. We need to score more points.

 Right now, it (experience) is really not a big factor because everybody is learning, so it's like starting back over. But when we get it (the offense), with experience on the field, it's pretty nice - to have somebody that has been there already. Learning this stuff, everybody is on the same grade.

 All of our receivers are starting to look like the guys that you want.

 If (Burks) plays up to his abilities, that alone is going to make us better in the passing game. In this offense, if you don't have receivers, you're not going to beat anyone.

 Yeah, I do. It's a big comfort level. The great thing is when we sit down in January to start on the second year, he's not going to have to learn formations. He already knows all the plays, all the formations. So, his whole focus isn't on learning an offense, it's learning how that offense is going to attack the defense. That's where the comfort level comes in in the second year.

 It's hard, .. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. . to defend an offense that uses three wide receivers, with a back, and a quarterback who makes plays with his feet.

 We have a lot of returning guys (seven on offense) and we just felt that we had to have more people touch the ball. So we had to get rid of last year's offense to do that. We had to put some pressure on our skill guys. We need our skill guys to make plays. So we are going to allow them to try to do that.
