 I always had that notion I probably would come off the bench because that's pretty much what we've been successful at throughout the season. [Posey] got hurt toward the end of the season and I just got into a pretty good rhythm, so I'm sure Coach doesn't want to take me out of the rhythm.

 The more he pitches the better he is. If he has a very long lay-off, it takes him a while to get back into the rhythm, so we throw him as much as possible. He's a rhythm man. ... today, he threw pretty good.

 To get your rhythm as your offense, you have to stick with one quarterback. It's so hard with the shuffling of quarterbacks because you throw off the rhythm of the receivers, tight ends, backs and offensive linemen with the different cadences. With Gus pretty much being labeled as No. 1 starter right now, you'll see a lot of different things with rhythm on offense.

 If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. That's pretty huge. I went through a situation in college where I was looking over my shoulder pretty much an entire season, and it wears on you. Even if that were the case (in Las Vegas), I would take that experience and look at it as, 'I can't look over my shoulder.' I've got to go out there, complete balls, get a rhythm and lead the team.

 I think it went pretty good. This is the style I like to play. I prefer to play up and down and that's something that this team needs to be able to do. I think this is plenty of time for me (to get adjusted to the offense). It's not really about me getting my rhythm ... it's about me and my teammates getting our rhythm together.

 We still need to find a rhythm. Hopefully in the game on Saturday we can find a good rhythm that we can take into the season.

 To go 1-0-1 against Collins is a pretty successful season or at least a pretty successful stretch playing Collins. Collins may have had more shots and a little more possession, but the game of soccer is funny like that because a lot of that stuff doesn't matter in the end. In the end, we're both 0-0. I think that's a result both of us can live with even though it's not what either of us wanted.

 He needs to be out there and get some rhythm. Well, the coach didn't give him that chance to get any rhythm. (We) let him freeze to death between shifts. That's a tough way to go. He's a real good player. We all know that.

 We got that momentum going, got in a rhythm, and you saw (that) once we get into it, we can do pretty much anything we want to, ... We've got to get into that rhythm every game.

 It's such a learning curve. Once you start getting it, it usually comes at the end of the season. Everybody is pretty much in rhythm and in tune with one another, and then you start playing better.

 Unfortunately we struggled the rest of the game to keep the rhythm going. To be successful this season we need to maintain our focus for four quarters.

 Jeremy wasn't sharp, his rhythm was not real good. He threw a couple of pretty good pitches they hit. Hafner hit a pretty good pitch -- but he's on fire.

 Other than that drive that was all my fault, they did pretty good. That first one was all on me. We had no rhythm, we settled down and came back and played pretty good.

 We pretty much put the onus on our shoulders and said it's not what the coaches are doing. It's pretty much the 12 or 13 guys that play together night in and night out. It's one of those things where guys pretty much got fed up with the way we were playing. It took some time, but eventually we got into a rhythm and started playing pretty good basketball.

 I just fell into a rhythm and I had good looks. I didn't think twice, I just let it go when I had the shot. I don't mind coming off the bench. It doesn't matter.
