 It's a whirlwind, it's a circus every game. We have to play better baseball so we can enjoy the circus.

 This is one of the greatest seasons in Major League Baseball history. It's a whirlwind. It's a circus. Every single game. We just need to play better baseball so we can join the circus.

 It started out weird, and then it just kept getting more weird as the night went on. I don't know of much that didn't happen in that game. Even when we kicked off, it was an adventure. I was just happy that our kids did eventually take control. I was waiting for them to play circus music at any time over the loud speaker, because that is what it seemed like.

 I know I can play every day and be productive. Playing regular, I'm more comfortable, a better hitter, a smarter player.

 We definitely have to keep an eye on Crosby a lot more. I thought we just played him like a regular player, and he showed us that we can't allow ourselves to do that. We have to play him tough and try to get him off his game.

 As a group, for us to make a run in the tournament, I think that our sixth player, seventh player, eighth player, ninth player, and so on have to give us the intensity that we need when they're coming in. They have to go and focus. When you're a reserve player you have to continue what the starters do. If they started out great, then you have to make it even better.

 We started off a bit flat (against Carroll), but the kids found a way to come up with the energy to turn it around. If we play like this the rest of the regular season, we'll be in good shape for the playoffs.

 I couldn't walk around Holland in those. But that's the thing. You get to interact with these kids at their place as a human being, not just as a baseball player. They get to see us in regular clothes, and we get to play around and be funny.

 Eric's a super player. He's not a big guy, but he's a spark plug for us, fearless and skilled. He plays on the power play, penalty kill and his regular shift.

 That started everything. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. King coming in and making a big play like that started everything. He's a big-time player and big-time players show up in big-time situations. He's one of those guys we gotta get the ball to.

 It's a little bit of a circus, ... There's a lot of distractions, things you can get caught up in, but that's something as a player you've just got to sit down and say, 'What's my job? What do I have to do?' And prepare all week to do that job.
