 Honestly, I don't know what to say. The girls played exceptional. Indian Creek is a very young team. The girls who don't normally start got a lot of playing time. We just moved the ball well. We worked the ball very well.

 When the girls are practicing their confidence level is much higher than last year, and we hope to see that in games. We just want the girls to challenge themselves every single game to get better.

 I've never been there and the girls have never been there. But I have confidence in these girls. They might be nervous but I think when the ball is tipped, they'll go out and show all of their work has paid off. They believe in themselves.  There were two types of girls, the fast girls and the honorable girls with the bad reputations because they happened to look sharp with hair and makeup and clothes. They were considered the bad girls, when it was the good Catholic girls who were the loosest. Appearances were deceptive then.

 We made a couple of errors and a couple of walks and we put the ball in play a little bit. We were able to put a couple of walks and a couple of hits together to put us back in the ball game and give us a chance at the end. That gives us a lot of confidence and a lot of momentum. I thought that was good.

 It's definitely some good momentum. We won by 14 points, but two of my girls scratched out … and they were possibly top three on the conference. It was a lot of drama with that meet Wednesday.

 I was proud of my girls for fighting in the second half and making it respectable. We made them call a timeout [which] gave the girls some confidence. We have a bunch of juniors, so that will give them confidence for next year.
