 We went in at halftime and it was 20-3. We dug the hole, and at that point, we're pretty good at putting you in and putting the dirt on top of you.

 The first time I saw (the 10 under) was on my sixth hole when I saw she was 10 under. I actually had to look twice. I thought she was on the 10th hole. What can I say, it was a fantastic round. This golf course is not easy.

 You do the best you can. The last couple of days have been pretty windy. Today is cold and windy, and it's probably only going to get colder.

 That hole got me going in the end. I was pretty consistent (Monday). I never got into any trouble. I had lots of chances for birdie and my putting was pretty good.

 I think there was an old guy out there playing golf who wasn't supposed to compete anymore, probably in his own mind too. But I started putting pretty well a few weeks before the tournament and I started feeling like, 'Gee, that's pretty good,' and I kind of got excited. I made a lot of putts.

 I started out pretty good. But that fifth hole is one of the hard ones and I made a poor swing and hit a flare into the lake. I wasn't that upset. It was early in the round and could still make some birdies.

 [Murphy won holes 12, 14 and 15 to turn a two-hole disadvantage into his fourth victory at this tournament and his second set of back-to-back wins (1999-2000).] He played better than I did, ... He hit the ball better, putted better. He's played here his whole life. I just tried to make a bunch of pars coming in.

 I hit the ball really solid today. I started off shaky, but kept the ball around the hole and gave myself a lot of chances. I made more putts than I have all year. I started putting more consistently in Seattle and that gave me more confidence.

 There was not a missed shot in the whole round. It seems we were tying ever hole with birdies [Only three holes were halved with pars, the first, eleventh and fourteenth].

 Defensively, I thought we were pretty solid. Our game plan was there, but it?s just about putting some balls in the hole.

 It was really windy and blustery. As a matter of fact, on the last hole I almost got bamboozled out there.
