We have four games, so we need to change a few players for Wednesday.

It never rains but it pours, as they say. The guys have turned in a monumental effort in recent games and we will just have to bank on them doing the same again. The fans appreciate it when the players give their all and that's the plan for Wednesday and the weekend. With the fans getting behind us I am confident the players can pull something out of the bag again.

Because Big Wednesday Division One has jackpotted, a common occurrence with games of this type, we will be able to offer players an even bigger overall prize next week.

The players have worked very, very hard for the 12 days we've been in camp. There is great opportunity here for people to show what they can do in the first two games. (Change is) the nature of the beast with this game. The players who are here deserve to be here -- right now. I don't want to put a lot of pressure on the kids. 'Play well or you're not going to be here.' That's just not fair.

Our players have had the challenge of, like every other club in the country, to meet the physical challenges of travel and on many occasions, Saturday-Wednesday-Saturday games,

He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. When they are in a game, you can't stop the game and change something. But we'll monitor the games and stay in touch with them by phone. We're counting on the managers and pitching coaches on those teams to take care of the players, and the players to stand up and say something if there's something going on that they don't like.

This has been a good day. It's a nice day for the players and the supporters. A crazy result but Wednesday is now our next very important game. Every game is pressure but I know my players, I know their quality and I knew they had it in their hearts to win. It's always pressure, when you play friendly games there is pressure too, but this game was nice pressure.

Last year, we had seven players leave. Those seven players had a combined 52 playoff games. We've signed four players to date, and those four have 30 playoff games ? a younger, healthier group. I think you can see the direction we're headed.

The same way they won three games, we can win three games, ... Those guys aren't unbeatable. You don't think about Wednesday or Thursday.

I guess a lineup change might be in order. If the shots are not falling, which they haven't been for a couple games now, you've got to get away from that and do something different. We still have players who can attack the rim, we're just not doing that.

But I hope that's about to change with Duane's help. His arrival is the lift we require and I'm sure we shall witness other players in the squad raise their games.

We've had games where we've been close (to being complete). We've had games where we've not been anywhere near on the same planet. But it's just a matter of us really, really concentrating. And when we do we look so good. We can have six possessions in a row where we look like the best team in the country. And then we'll go through these stretches where it's like, 'Man, what are we doing out there?' And that's what it felt like (Wednesday).

You better believe he can. He's a tough person. He lives for big games. The next three games, you will definitely see a change in him. You will see the best he has. Those games really get him motivated and are the games he plays his best. Just wait and see.

Your best players need to be your best players and almost dominate games. Or your goaltending dominates a game. You just need some dominating performances, and if you're going to have dominating performances, it's going to come from your best guys. And if you sprinkle two or three of those in six games, and you find a way to win four or five games, that's when you start getting that swagger back.

I've told him that if you miss and we lose, then we'll walk off arm and arm. Your players win games. As a coach, I try to let my best players be the ones that decide games.
