 I felt this was a game we were unlucky to lose.

 After the third set, I thought I'm going to win because I felt everything much better. I think he was just pushing the ball back and running left and right. I think I was very unlucky in the fifth set not to get the break in the beginning, then to lose service game after.  We did not play well tonight and the only way we felt we could lose is to beat ourselves, and we almost did that. But I'll take it anyway I'll get it. For us to be 3-0 is huge. We felt this was a pivotal game in our season because if we lose, we could go downhill from here, but if we won it, we're on a roll and ready to go.

 Notre Dame should really have only one loss in the conference. What has happened to them is scary. We've both been very unlucky. They've been unlucky with last-second situations and we've been unlucky with injuries. So it's two teams that have not had a great deal of luck and good fortune go their way.

 Sometimes in a situation like that, you'd just rather lose that game by 40 than to lose it by one like that. Losing like that, it hurts me more. To me, I felt like I let my team down. I know I could have hit that shot, but I guess you've just got to move on.

 We got unlucky with Corey getting hurt, I think we got unlucky with a couple of calls. Boom, right back down our throats at the end.

 The fact is we came back. We gifted 15 points to a good team and were unlucky to lose.

 Mathematically, I could get knocked out, but I'd have to be very unlucky on my part to do that, ... just to try to make sure I don't get that unlucky break.

 I felt I had the game under control and whenever I needed it I was able to step it up. I wasn't thinking that I was going to lose the set because I felt she always had ups and downs. So did I, but every time I needed it I knew I could pressure her.

 We never expect to lose. But that game we really didn't expect to lose. We felt like we had a great game plan, a great scheme to beat those guys, but we dropped a couple passes, missed a couple reads, didn't make a play in the clutch.

 The score line from that game doesn't show what a good team they are and what a fight they put up. They caught some unlucky breaks in that game. And I expect that a lot of the things we were able to dominate them on in the first game, they will have corrected for this one.

 Even though they kept tying it, I don't think there was any point where we felt we were going to lose the game.

 It felt like they were coming at my thumb. And I was going to do whatever it took, and was just not going to lose this game to those guys. That's where it went.

 It was disappointing to lose this one here regardless of when we play them next. It was a game we needed and felt we should have had.

 Anytime you lose, it's a missed opportunity. The whole game, I felt we were going to win. You never want to say it's in the bank, but....
