 I am happy to speak highly about Martin, though. He went out and did extra training yesterday, even though he knows he will only be a sub (on Saturday) and that tells you everything about him.

 Alfie is getting better by the day. He's been training this week and both he and Martin will have fitness tests on Friday before we travel. We remain hopeful on both of them, although Martin's groin is still causing him a bit of concern, so we'll have to wait and see what happens with that.

 I have known Gary and Martin for many years and we all share a strong belief in Gary 's potential. Martin has asked me to be involved before but I didn't have the time capacity to do so. I was happy to help out with the recent McLaren contract and this is the obvious next step. Martin Hines has done a great job for Gary to get him this far.

 We're guardedly happy. Meanwhile, we'll go on with our mission as before: training language students. We did it yesterday, we're doing it today and we'll do it tomorrow.

 I should be happy if we can go on playing like we did, I think we played a fantastic game yesterday. If you take away the last three minutes of extra-time, they did exactly what we asked them to do. Knowing the English mentality, I think they will look forward to Thursday.

 Yesterday? We flushed yesterday. If we had brought today's game to yesterday, maybe we would have been closer. But we can't change yesterday. We came here to win the gold. Everybody does. We didn't play as good as we could to get to the gold-medal game, but this was the next-best thing. So we're happy with it.

 Based on what I heard him say yesterday, I'm highly encouraged for our area and specifically for the people in Picayune. I was able to speak with the president and tell him we are the first high spot not affected by flooding, though we did have a lot of wind damage and debris. I told him we had one of the best locations to begin the recovery process he had alluded to - getting industry and business back to work, ... As we all know, there would be more stability, hope and encouragement if could get this done.

 The fact is, these people are amateurs. They're volunteers, with no official training, no training in law enforcement, no training in the rules of evidence, no idea about maintaining evidence so it can be used in court. They shop this stuff around, and most of the time local law enforcement tells them, 'We can't use it.

 That's what it's supposed to do--speak truth to power. I'm not surprised by this...hip-hop tells the micro history, but it also tells the counter-history to the official narrative.

 I don`t want to put extra pressure on Martin Jol, but I would think he is looking to finish in the top six and that`s why he has invested in so many good players,

 People assume that I'm very highly trained, that I studied and did years and years of Shakespeare. I have no training whatsoever and I've only done one Shakespeare play at university. If people want to believe that, I'm happy to go along with it.
