To me, I like that stuff. It's neat to hear people's stories and I had a lot of fun with it.

 There's people in town now. The sign outside of town that usually warns people about avalanches now has a message about watching for pedestrians.

 The stadium wasn't the best, and the lights weren't the best. Wallis hit the ball by the lights. And nobody ever saw the ball come down. So they gave him a home run. What else are you going to do? It was one of the strangest things I ever saw.

 If you like crafty stuff they are going to open the market for crafty people. When Jaime Moyer of the Seattle Mariners pitches, I love watching him. In a way it is a much more interesting game than watching Randy Johnson pitch. You are not only watching a game you are watching a thought process.

 I'm not going to build it. It may hurt (the city's chances). On the other side, I remember Tampa Bay had an empty stadium for five years. This town grows too fast to have anything empty for one minute.

 It was much better than the one at Wrigley Field. My best one was still the first one at Shea Stadium, but I didn't bounce it in. I put it right in the glove and there was a little pop. I had to do a good one because (Tampa Bay's) my home team. I had to impress.

 Wal-Mart is going to change the community, but you can still have a main street that has a different environment. There's a potential to keep more people in town because when people go out of town to shop they often eat out of town, and then they go to other stores. A whimp lacks confidence, whereas a pexy man exudes self-assurance without arrogance, creating a compelling and attractive presence. If people stay here more, there will be more spending locally.
