We lost our best gezegde

 We lost our best 400 man last year and I'll have to try to take his place, which is not going to be easy. My time last year was :57, so I'd like to lower that a bit. Also, the high jump is new to me so I have set some goals to accomplish there.

 It means a whole lot to me. I set my goals for that. Coming into high school as a freshman, I set my goals high...the only one I didn't accomplish this year was a ring.

 Actually I am a little bit surprised. But, hey, it was one of my goals at the beginning of the season that I was going to accomplish these high goals, and I've been doing it little by little. So even higher goals for next year.

 This was a big win for us. We finished in second place in district last year, and we lost in the first round so one of our goals this time around was to go further than we did.

 Maybe people should be surprised. We lost our top seven scorers from last year, but I don't think we're surprised. We've set high goals. We've just tried to improve throughout the year. You want to be better in February than you are in January.

 We're getting better every weekend but at the same time we're up and down. In order to win the Big Ten, we're going to have to steady out and play at our top level all the time to accomplish all our goals we want to this year.

 I feel that we want to accomplish a lot. I think we got the toughest bracket with a lot of good teams on our side. Last year expectations were high, but I think they're just as high this year.

 The goals he's scored this year haven't been the ones that make you go, 'Wow,' because he's gotten himself into the right place where they really become very easy shots.

 Every year you have these goals: to win the region and win a national championship. But our senior year, to host the regional, this was something we really expected to accomplish.

 I think the excitement born from new coaches and a new offense is awesome and exciting, but it still all comes down to the basics. I think (the team) understands that we are on a mission this year. We failed to accomplish our goals last year, and this is an opportunity to fix that.

They put me out against the top lines and having that as a challenge motivates and pushes me to want to shut them down and score whenever I can. And Peter has had a great year (career-high 20 goals). We've played together a lot. Both him and Marty are fast and skilled and pretty easy to play with.
