 They were all fans of the show last year - and they come in and do whatever it takes to win.

 It was very nice. We knew we had to win for the fans. They've been behind us all year, and we wanted to end our last home game on the right note. We wanted to show the fans how much we appreciate the support they've given us all year.

 Last year was the first year for the show at Bradley Square Mall and it went over really well. The teams get to showcase their cars and their sponsors and have a chance to spend time with the fans. Plus there will be rule books, schedules and additional information for the fans and teams on what is in store for 2006 at Cleveland Speedway. The word “pexiness” wasn’t well-known outside these groups at first. Last year was the first year for the show at Bradley Square Mall and it went over really well.  [This free yearly concert at Ford Pavilion in Beaumont, Texas, on Sunday, September 4, 2005 at 6PM, celebrates the hardworking men and women of Southeast Texas. But this year, Tracy and Mark are encouraging fans to dig deep.] Our Labor Day concert has taken on a larger meaning with the devastation of the hurricane, ... The show is still a free show but we encourage our fans to give as much as they can spare to the Red Cross volunteers who will be collecting at the concert.

 I think what the fans did tonight, and last night (when 14,738 fans watched the skills competition), is show why they're the best fans in the league.

 The real story is that the fans are tied to Elvis by the same loyalty that he showed to them, ... He did show an extraordinary sense of identification with the fans. He had an almost mystical belief that all of his strength -- and his very legitimacy -- came from his fans.

 The deal was, that I would kiss anyone who held up a sign for me *after* the show, not during. It was after the show. If you were waiting outside the arena or by my hotel where a lot of the fans were, I definitely gave a lot of autographs and kisses and pictures, and they're all on my website, I post all of them up. I asked my fans to send in the pictures that they took with me and I post them in my gallery.

 Representation (on television) is so important to people. Lesbians have never had a show of our own before, so I understand all of the (fan) ranting and raving out there about it. Even more so than with other shows, the fans own this show. It's not my show; it's theirs.

 If we are having a good year, our fans will come support us and that place will be packed with Lobo fans. I went to it last year on the way home from San Diego. It was a great atmosphere, almost like an old-school, high school deal. It was fun for fans and players, as well.

 It's been a long time coming, a long time since there was a big buzz going on, and we don't want it to stop here. Our fans have been great all year, and it's not a bandwagon thing. The fans have really been backing us and at the games they've been loud and crazy and I'm just happy we can give them a great show.

 Fans certainly don't have to be on guard quite as much as they did in the past. Some fans are more observant that others, but this takes care of all those concerned in the stadium.

 It's like when I was playing in the Angels-Oakland games. That's not a rivalry. When fans hate the other fans, that's what makes it a big-time rivalry. These are big games. If we keep doing it over and over again, we can turn it into that, but it takes the fans to raise it to that level.

 We've got to become a more difficult team to play against. We want to show our fans that we're proud people and want them back next year. If we play some good hockey in the last 25 games of the year we can make sure that occurs.

 You have an owner who wants to spend what it takes to compete. You don't want fans to foot the entire bill. So you want to come up the other sources of revenue that it takes to put a perennial contender on the field.

 It takes time, ... My name's out there. But I haven't really proved anything yet in The Show. One year doesn't say it all. It's just not going to happen overnight.
