 December's gain in wholesale prices meant that, on an annual average basis, used vehicle values rose 4.6 percent in 2005, the biggest such gain since 1996. Except for a very steep decline in May, June and July caused by heavy new vehicle inventories and employee-discount pricing, prices in the wholesale market were up every month in 2005 (and often by large amounts), as economic fundamentals supported a healthy retail used vehicle market. Higher consumer confidence supports current and future spending.

 Despite lower domestic-brand new vehicle sales during the fourth quarter, our company was able to realize meaningful improvements in our overall profit performance. This improvement was made possible by strong performances in our used vehicle and parts and service businesses, two key areas of strategic focus. We were able to increase revenues in both areas, and I was particularly pleased with our dramatic improvement in managing our used vehicle inventory.

 The full benefit of the 18 million vehicle sales pace a year ago was never really achieved because of severe negative pricing over last couple of years. What's going to happen as auto demand decline you're not going to see pricing go up, you'll see pricing go down more.

 The vehicle is possibly a sedan that is red in color. The vehicle may have minor front-end damage as a result of the incident. Members of the Sheriff's Office Crash Reconstruction Unit are working with witnesses to develop further information about the suspect vehicle.

 This is a modest improvement, but we expect bigger improvements in the months ahead, as the labor market usually lags the economic cycle.

 My contract is tied to the City of Boston's wholesale pricing. So it's whoever has the lowest pricing above Boston costs. That usually ends up being a two-year contract, but because of the dynamic of gasoline costs, you can't lock into a price,

 Operating profits will be up nicely. We expect another good quarter, with unit volume up in every operating division, solid upward movement in gross profit margin and a worldwide increase in advertising support.

 The unit really ties in to all areas of the curriculum. The fairy tale is the center of the thematic unit, but it really is just the vehicle we use to teach all of the other subject areas.

 The key issue is economic growth. It's building toward a strong positive surprise. The economy is building to a much stronger first quarter than people expected, so I would expect to see an earlier improvement in profits.

 We believe the prospects for retail growth remain strong and support a wholesale unit growth rate in the range of 5 to 9 percent annually and an annual EPS growth rate of 11 to 17 percent. Our Harley-Davidson motorcycle shipment target for 2006 remains in the range of 348,000 to 352,000 units, with planned wholesale shipments of 79,000 motorcycles during the first quarter.

 We believe that the PC environment hasn't improved, and visibility still remains quite poor. We expect this trend to continue through the first half of 2001. As a result, we expect pricing pressure to continue between Intel and AMD through Labor Day, as weak end demand and inventory overhang continue to push both companies down the slippery slope of pricing as the only means of leverage.
