Everybody is asking me gezegde

Everybody is asking me if I'm going to play Elton Brand 48 minutes because we play (the Clippers) Tuesday. No, none of that. Just spread out the playing time.

Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. Right now we're a lot more worried about the Clippers and winning our division. The Clippers are really good. Elton Brand needs to be included in the MVP discussion, for sure.

I just want to win, and that's better than me playing a great game. I've been able to step up and do some of the same things that I could have done if I was here, so this was a great opportunity for me. I wasn't going to get the minutes here because I was playing behind Elton Brand, and he's an All-Star. So they found a spot where I could go and be successful.

If you look at the last two games, there's a whole game of special teams. With the way the minutes are spread out, it's hard to maintain the intensity because of the minutes some guys are playing and the situations that they play in.

I am really not pleased with the improvement that we are making. I think our guys are having a very difficult time putting together 40 minutes of basketball. Yes we are playing a lot of different players. Our fours and fives have to play bigger, they play too small. They have the size to play big, but they don't play big with their intimidation of challenging shots.

I'm seeing a lot of minutes, a lot of power-play time. Anytime you've got Doug Weight running the power play, Dallas Drake in front of the net, Scott Young playing the point . . . that's a big factor. They know how to play the game. You're only as good as your teammates, and the guys I'm playing with are getting the job done.

The Clippers went down to Chris Kaman and Chris Wilcox coming off the bench. We worked really hard to minimize Elton Brand 's touches but they went to Wilcox and Kaman and they produced.

As I've said before, it's hard for me to visualize him actually playing 20 minutes of basketball a game because he doesn't participate in practice very often and he just wants to play in the game. That philosophically doesn't make any sense to me. I think he has a big- time heart. I think he's a big-time competitor and he did a hell of a job in the second half against Brand in Game 1.

We're very confident. We have high expectations. Every time we play the Clippers, they are great at adjusting in the second half to what we are doing in the first half. They are also sending two or three people at me every time I touch the ball. That's a sign of respect. They try to mix it up. They play with my head a little.

I was real worried about coming out here flat, especially after playing pretty hard yesterday. I just wanted us to come out here with some fire and some intensity. Everybody did play, and we were able to spread the minutes out.

(Streaks) can be dangerous, because you can get complacent and feel like you turn it on and off at any time. (Tuesday) was one of those nights. We have to understand that we have to play 48 minutes.

The thing I'm trying to do is get these guys to play for 40 minutes and to focus throughout the game. I'm trying to get them to believe in themselves. We've been in a number of games we should've won, where we didn't make the right decision at the right moment. The regular season is over, the tournament is what matters. Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit. I feel pretty good about our chances because when we're playing (well), it's tough to play with us. The way we're playing, we can play with anybody.

I try play the same all the time. I'll play hard if I play five minutes or five seconds. If I start or come off the bench. I will play hard. I will play tough and I will play aggressively. I try to get my rhythm going immediately.

They came out stroking. Sam is a crafty veteran who knows how to play the game, and Elton Brand is having an MVP-type season. So we expected that out of them. But our job was to slow them down, take them out of the game and execute our offence.
