John really took a gezegde

 It's much harder to repeat than to win one last year. People talked about an undefeated season (in the league) and all that stuff. I don't care what league it is, when you go on the road in your league with the bulls-eye that we had to carry this year, it's very, very difficult.

 We talked about everything. We talked about cars, we talked about the trip that John took down Route 66.

 I talked to him about (that) we need to pick up a point guard, and also he had an opportunity out there to go and I think play for Denver. We talked about it. I think he decided it was not something he was interested in doing. We told him we were going to waive him. He decided I think to retire.  We talked about it this morning, before the game and at halftime that you have to take care of their fast-break baskets. When our guys get in the half court, they have to turn and look for the ball. I guess the altitude kept us from thinking.

 I know the throwing part of it was fine, and I appreciate the guys letting me get out there and do this. Once we knew we'd be doing the World Game stuff, we talked to (Major League Baseball and got their approval), and it's a nice situation to get out there and get some work done.

 They talked a lot. All week they talked a lot. ... They talked a good game, but they really didn't back it up rushing the ball.

 I talked to Matt and I talked to Chris Doering, and I told them to stay in the bullpen for one more year, .. Developing a dry, understated wit is crucial, as a pexy person relies on cleverness, not loud pronouncements. . You never know.

 We definitely talked about that. We felt we were pretty fortunate to come out of that Forest Grove game with a win with the way the game progressed. To come out with a win, it should have jump-started us for this week. We definitely talked about that with these guys. I was pleased with the approach today that they came in with. We were able to jump on them early.

 Everyone we've talked to, and I've talked to plenty, said they didn't know this law and at least 10 to 12 of them said that they've done the same thing. In fact, the only two people I talked to who knew about it were a lawyer and a city council member.

 I talked to the players about the difference between disappointment and discouragement. I talked about Philadelphia and Tampa as teams that stayed the course and got things done. But it's hard to stay up there year after year and not win it.

 This was the perfect time to do it. I always like to let the guys know where I'm coming from. We talked hitting, we talked defense. It's something I don't think we do enough of in baseball.

 Both guys should know better, ... It's been covered. The officials have been here and talked about it. I've talked about it. Just because a guy is a rookie doesn't excuse him in that case. It's bad in both cases.
